It is certainly impressive in how it spreads. This kind of attack is pretty scary, to be honest.

Looks like a warning like "hey this can still happen", the last line says to install the security patch.
Got an email about this today at work. Man we would be so screwed if this happened to us since we use remote desktop tools to add sales to the system, which would not only knock us down but then spread to our retailers, their distribution centers, at the same time knocking out the distribution center we work at and their multi million dollar clients.

As long as your IT professional has backups and regularly patches(ahhahahahaha) then there shouldn't be anything to worry about.
The fact it can spread over networks scares me. I've got a dumb sibling who's infected the family computer multiple times and really can't tell that "FREE _____ PREMIUM ACCOUNT" is probably fake
