Yes, it's a place to gripe about terrible download speeds! I'll start the ball rolling: I average 50 kb/s on Steam, no lie. (User was banned for this post ("Wrong Section/Read the rules before making a thread" - BANNED USER))
I always get great speeds in Fast Threads.
You have a poor download speed? Welcome to Australia, where the national postage service is faster than HTTP.
I'm sure there are some 56k users somewhere.
I'm paying for 54 Mbps but I'm getting 25 kb/s to 100 kb/s
When I had T-Mobile Broadband, they'd ram your speed to 1KB/s if you went over your 500MB monthly limit. T-Mobile isn't hell. It's a step below it. :byodood:
I once got a download speed on Steam of 20b/s. Yes, twenty BYTES per second.
Sometimes when I download highly anticipated Linux Distros my download speed goes right down.
the max i get is 70 kbs
Not to boast or anything, but I think Peru takes the cake. I had this experience there last summer, and this was in a major city.

Last summer, I had nothing but 1KB/s if I was lucky. I wouldn't be able to load Google. I'd stay up till midnight just so my new data month would take in effect so I'd be able to browse again. Once it hit 12, nothing happened. :colbert:
I'm getting only up to 150 kb/s but it's free so I can't complain :v:
I average 30kb/s when downloading from Steam. Upto 2MB/s when downloading off an Australian server that isn't in Steam. Supposed to get 20MB/s down.
I get 250-400 kb/s. It's bad.
