Just curious if any on you have ever tried this. Basically sounds, that when listened to with stereo headphones, can induce a "high." It takes up to half an hour for it to kick in. I've heard of certain dangers and such with these.
Anyone brave enough to upload a couple to your iPod and tell us the effects?
EDIT: feh feh late? Was there another thread for this? I've known these were around for years but I just thought to ask DD if any of you've tried them. Meh I haven't seen them mentioned here
Yes, I've tried these. Look up the program SBaGen. It's the predecessor to iDoser, and it's free. You can get any of the "doses" as .sbg files for free (legally).
Try it with an open mind. It's not going to get you high, but it's an interesting experience nonetheless. I also have an application for my iPod Touch called Brain Hack, which is a Binaural Beat application. I semi-regularly use Sleep Aid and Lucid Dreaming.
Most people bash this because they don't get the desired effects from it. Here are some things to keep in mind if you ever try it:
1. You need high-quality headphones. If you don't have high quality headphones, it isn't going to work.
2. You need to clear your mind and meditate on the beats.
3. Try it in a dark room, in a comfy chair or your bed.
4. Don't give up just because it doesn't immediately work. It may not induce the desired effects, but take the time to explore it. You never know what you'll find.
I tried it long ago. It just woken up a bit of anxiety inside me, that's all.
I tried the alcohol one a while ago, made me sick to the stomach and I nearly threw up.
I would say it worked pretty good.
Can you get a THC highish reaction from one of the tracks? Or is far less potent than that?

Less "potent" than that...?
Please go read up on Binaural Beats.
pretty sure this is simply placebo
Oh look it's THIS thread again.
It's all just placebo.
Waste of time imho. I've tried multiple tracks many different times. Haven't got any worthwhile effects.
yeah dude3ee i am so0o0oo highhalskd as;dfllll
Doesn't work, and I even tried the hand of god thing.
But I suck at focusing, my mind wanders too much. I heard you're supposed to meditate for these to work, and I can't meditate.

Potent as in, an undeniably THCish emulated high. Or is it simply a euphoric feeling that doesn't resemble much of anything?
the only one that worked for me was the nitrous,
i started laughing like crazy
I got my friend to do the Gates of Hades and he flipped the fuck out.
Hahah.
These just made me anxious.
I've had this on a school trip, 3 hours of some noise. Besides a headache, nothing happened.
As Anubis said, you need to in into it with a clear mind. They will work, but they grossly exaggerate what it will do to you.
My suggestion if you're going to try it, smoke a small bowl beforehand so you are more relaxed and can get the most out of it.
I tried forever but they didn't work for me. They really relax me though. I just enjoy listening to them. I can't fall asleep to real music, but this, I can.

Some say it's total bullshit and others swear upon it. Totally hit or miss.
It's not like a physical substance its mentally stimulating media just like an optical illusion or things like that.
Be careful with those iDoses, you don't wanna overdose :V

This.
I've gone into it with a clear mind, in a very comfortable beanbag, and I had a positive experience.
After about 40 minutes of meditation on the beats, I felt my body go cold, and I felt like I was floating through space.
It's more than placebo, but the effects are certainly over-exaggerated.

Pretty much this.
feh well then I guess not worth my time. I'm impatient anyway
I wonder how an iDose would be on a hallucinogen.
I think I'm going to try it next time I'm tripping. All I got the last time I tried an iDose was a bit of a buzz for 5 minutes. Might've been placebo, might've been something real. In any case, it was really weak. But perhaps being affected by some other drug could enhance the effects?
Possibly. The people tried "flashing" their brains on DXM. They got program, that flashes whole screen on PC at some frequency, and with help of DXM you sync that frequency to your brain waves.

Are you referring to Alpha waves?

Actually, you write frequency in it, and all that, and just stare at monitor.
Alpha, Beta, Delta, Theta waves.
Or website version incase flasher doesn't work.

I downloaded the weed one a few weeks ago, I was interested to see if it was anything like the real thing.
I don't have a headset at the moment though, mine died, so I had to use my shitty JVC iPod earphones, which I guess didn't help, but all it did was make me feel really calm and chilled, then when it ended and the song changed, and nearly had a heart attack, it felt like it'd woke me up, although I was already awake...weird. I guess it put me in a unfocused state, kinda like meditation, but I can already do that, you just need to clear your mind, and I think this does the same, as you are concentrating on the beats, nothing else, I think it becomes subconscious.
I'm gonna try it once a get my new headset though, hopefully I'll get some more interesting results.

What is this supposed to do? It just made my eyes flood tears and almost gave me a seizure.

It helps to read the instructions, dumbass. You're supposed to close your eyes.
A lot of these just make me cry.

Also, where do I get the doses in .sbg format? Torrent?
