Slash (feat. Everyone)
Got it yesterday from that special Slash edition of Classic Rock magazine, pretty fucking awesome in my opinion. "Back from Cali" is currently my favourite track on it.

Although one thing, in Crucify the Dead, the guitar solo sounded a bit too much like he was trying to imitate Buckethead's playing style in an attempt to get into Axl's good books...
oh my sweet jesus this album is godly. Watch This is amazing.
Kind of pissed I didn't get Sahara even though it was supposed to come with the iTunes pre-order.

Isn't crucify the dead about Axl :P

Ozzy said he wrote the lyrics as if he was Slash talking to Axl or something, but the music was written first by Slash and sent to Ozzy to write the lyrics.
Amazing album, not a song i would not listen too.
Eh, "Gotten" and "Saint is a Sinner Too" are pretty shit in my opinion... I love all the others though.
So he basically just hired a bunch of people for a collection of one-off songs.

Yes. Is there anything particularly wrong with that?
I cant find this album anywhere in shops :saddowns:
Should've collaborated a little with Justin Bieber . . .
Just bought it, pretty awesome so far.

If by "collaborated" you mean "buried his gold-top Les Paul into the little shit's head and recorded the whole thing" then yeah, I agree.

I was just about to ask if anyone knew what the "R&FN'R" on the album cover meant, but I realised that it probably means "Rock & Fuckin' Roll"
Holy fucking shit.
Bad, ass.
Fuck.. I just read in Metal Hammer that Slash was thinking of having Dave Mustaine on the album but picked M. Shadows instead.
Slash and Dave Mustaine. How awesome would that have been?
I love Slash, I think this will be the first album I actually buy in years, just because I like him so much.

Have to admit that Shadows was probably the right choice. That song turned out fantastic.
This album is pretty mixed IMO, a lot of crap on it but some very good songs as well. Favourites would be
Nothing to Say
Watch This
Doctor Alibi
By the Sword
We're all gonna die
Ghost
Rest are pretty rubbish. Definately an album of two halves.
I thought "I Hold On" was good as well. And "Beatiful Dangerous" and "Crucify the Dead" weren't rubbish.

The song was pretty good, yes, but I'd rather hear Slash and Mustaine's teamwork.
Slash + Lemmy = fucking win.

Isn't that what Santana did? Maybe I'm wrong...
He's a guitarist, it makes sense for him to get lots of singers.
