That really hit hard. Ouch.
Peer pressure, especially in a situation where you have a genuinely emotional issue, can crush anyone. It's sad that where ever this guy turns, he can never find help because of the conception of female-to-male rape in our society.
I have the same thing but toward cancer. I had it when I was like 4-5. Fine now but I look back and make jokes about it.
i came in here expecting the worst but oh my god
I have the same thing but toward cancer. I had it when I was like 4-5. Fine now but I look back and make jokes about it.
I'm not sure if this is quite comparable. Unless your cancer still has effects on your body and mental health to this day at least. The point of this was that he was raped, and due to societal expectations of female-on-male rape, was expected to have enjoyed it. In reality it's destroyed him, he cannot turn to help from half the population of the world due to his past, expressing the pain and other unpleasantness he feels over the ordeal is impossible because "men stronk, no feel". Like, I get that cancer is fucking horrible, but unless you are mentally broken from it, and using humour as a coping mechanism for that mental anguish, I don't think you can compare it. I'm trying my hardest not to make assumptions here, but there's not much to go on in your post :v:
Maybe this will silence those people saying "I'm so jealous of that boy that was raped by his teacher".
Maybe this will silence those people saying "I'm so jealous of that boy that was raped by his teacher".
It won't. Trust me.
....ow. [editline]ow[/editline] Shit, I wasn't expecting red face and border-line tears.
It's like that moment I had at college. I was talking with two girls (In relationships) who just looked at me and told me "Ah, tell me you wouldn't fuck a girl if she asked you to do it!" And then when I told them I'd feel like an object to be used and discarded, they just looked at me like I'm the biggest anomality/weirdo ever. It feels so unfair.
I'm glad to see we aren't having some crazy debate and recognize the double standards are problems of masculinity.
Maybe this will silence those people saying "I'm so jealous of that boy that was raped by his teacher".
These people are not as bad as the crazies who argue that men can't be raped because of "the patriarchy".
Wait, some people actually believe that? Wow. Just wow.
Only men can rape, only women can be raped, etc ...
Wait, some people actually believe that? Wow. Just wow.
Edit: sorry, wasn't expecting this to be taken seriously or harshly . It was an inappropriate time to make a joke either way because of the context of the thread, so it was my fault.
I see that you've haven't heard of tumblr.
let's not direct the thread towards this
let's not direct the thread towards this
It was going that way even before the thread was made.
I like how his face got all purple as he talked but then at the end, ouch.
I see that you've haven't heard of tumblr.
They're actually being pretty tame about it
I feel really bad.
I see that you've haven't heard of tumblr.
the people on tumblr that believe that is such a small fraction its just that they're very outspoken thats enough about tumblr though
Wait, some people actually believe that? Wow. Just wow.
We had those on FP a while ago. They were idiots and got themselves permabanned.
let's not direct the thread towards this
Sorry, I wasn't thinking of the potential shitstorm I would've/could've caused. In my head I was just thinking of it as a dumb joke.
Wow, its been a long time since I've seen such a gut wrenchingly sad thing on the internet.
wow I really like this video, it caused me to do a bunch of self reflection. I notice that I'm not very different from this guy, the main difference is that i havent been raped. I have gone though horrible experiences (that only I could understand the magnitude of) that completely warp the way i look at the world and seeing a video like this literally speaks to me its incredible.

reminds me of the dad from modern family
Ouch.
fuck, it does hit hard.
fun fact feminists fight the very social construction that's telling this man that he has to enjoy all sexual violence that's inflicted upon him
fun fact feminists fight the very social construction that's telling this man that he has to enjoy all sexual violence that's inflicted upon him
It's sad how bad feminist stereotypes have become, there's too many people that think being a feminist means that you hate men and think women are superior when it's really just about equality.
