What my question is, what would happen if someone went to walmart or wherever, and scratched the password off the back of a zune pass and used it for your account to buy music. Yay for unnecessary name callings. MOAR BOXES FOR THE SIMPLE QUESTION RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH (User was banned for this post ("Dumb" - SteveUK))
I gave you a box instead for trying to cheat Microsoft.
I'm pretty sure they are activated at the register when you buy them.

NOT SAYING I WOULD DO THIS, BUT... The audience is waiting for an answer. (Btw my avatar is a dog ass, rate me informative)
Low-life scum.
Low-life scum.
The hell...? It's a question, it's one of those questions I ask myself during the day.
If you don't scan it, it won't do shit.
I'm pretty sure they are activated at the register when you buy them.
This, they do it to prevent shit bags from stealing from the store.
You can't do it so don't try.
I tried once. You have to activate them at the counter.

I thought it worked like that when I was like 11 or something.
Alright, thanks :)
It was already said tho.
Yeah if they didn't need any activation they would be in the glass containers/behind the counter etc.
Thief
It was already said tho.
Don't feel bad, they'll get there thanks sooner or later.
Come on guys, sure he's a thief, but he's stealing from the 2 biggest corporations on Earth. Do you think they care about a cheap piece of plastic? Don't get all angry and flamey on him, just tell him politely that he'll get arrested and raped in prison.

They aren't activated until you pay for them at the register, like gift cards.
I'm pretty sure they are activated at the register when you buy them.
I'm a cashier, I can verify this.
