Well.. When I try open steam, the updating steam pops up and after about 5 seconds a message box pops up saying, ERROR: steam.exe (main exception) To run steam, you must first be connected to the internet I'm clearly connected to the internet. Any solutions or ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. [highlight](User was banned for this post ("Not a support forum" - Orkel))[/highlight]
delete everything in the steam folder except steam.exe and steamapps [editline]11th February 2012[/editline] doesn't work? don't use a cracked steam [editline]11th February 2012[/editline] disable your firewall/antivirus, and try again
I don't have "Steam apps" :| I deleted everything in the steam folder though.. Still didn't work [editline]11th February 2012[/editline] All I get in my steam folder: 1. bin 2. public 3. client registry.blob 4. steam.exe 5. steam.ico 6. steam_install_agreement 7. support
