I've read that when dieting having one cheat meal a week can be beneficial not only mentally but it boosts your metabolism, can anyone tell me if there is any truth to this? I'm hoping to lose about 16-20 pounds and have lost 4 in my first week. (Working out too)
No truth to it boosting your metabolism.
Mentally beneficial, yes. That would depend on the person however.
Ah right thanks for clearing that up, I figure if I have one a week it will put me off cheating throughout the rest of the week as I have something to look forward to.
