Scientists flip a coin, reveal red wine is not good for you after all

Scientists for years have been trying to solve the "French Paradox", the fact the French have lower heart disease rates while simultaneously consuming diets high in saturated fat. In America, for as long as I can remember, the belief was that wine, or more specifically resveratrol, was the answer to my people's superior hearts. Once again however science has failed to grasp why exactly the French are superior, now that resveratrol has proven to provide no significant health benefits, even in large doses.
This brings us back to the question all have asked ourselves when we reached the age of reason and logical thought, also known as the day we realize Pier Noel really doesn't bring us gifts on a flying Italian donkey.
The question being of course, "Why are the French so supperior to Amerifats?"
A question so simple, yet the answer so beyond our understanding.
Read up on the technical side with professor Tim Crowe here.
Congratulations, you presented a more or less interesting article in an unnecessarily obnoxious way.
Turning attention to the article itself, this paragraph seems to sum it up nicely.
Sure, using high doses of the stuff in supplement form has shown mixed benefits on inflammation and markers of heart disease in short-term studies. But there’s need for caution; studies with supplements are far removed from normal diets – a person would need to drink a case of red wine each day to get similar doses of resveratrol.
In other words if you really want the alleged benefits, don't bother with the wine, just use supplements.
Is this MaxOfS2D's alt account or something?

Great reading comprehension, but I guess I should have expected it, knowing your nationality.
Don't worry though, being French and having read the article I'll say it one more time. Even taking supplements won't grant the health benefits that scientists have claimed for years.
Tim Crowe even points out how claiming one nutrient or vitamin is a miracle cure is idiotic, then pointing out that the paradox is based off the belief that consumption of saturated fat is intrinsicly bad for you. Right there he is hinting that the "French paradox" doesn't exist, and that claiming saturated fat is only bad is as stupid as saying red wine is only good.
But you would have known that if you had read the article.
And don't worry, I'll always be here to present interesting stories in an unnecessarily obnoxious way.

To OP: I would kindly suggest that you only post in the Rust section until you've lurked the rest of the forum enough to know how to post.

Reminds me of a Simpsons line:
I've been so bored since we moved here, I found myself drinking a glass of wine every day. I know doctors say you should drink a glass and a half but I just can't drink that much.

Amerifats
Well, might as well just perma you now, you already blew every chance you had at being a quality poster.
Would you guys get the sticks out of your asses ? This is SSH and the OP is obviously joking.

Thing is, the joke this time is terrible
Is like that time when Smurfy ran out of clever headlines and began to add Kim Kardashian for no reason whatsoever.
