Spectacular animation. I wish there were more projects like this.
Already down for me, incredible movie and soundtrack though
ew its dubbed, not like theres a high probability of official channels of distributors and whatnot putting up subbeds though still pretty nice of them to do this as well
egh dubs go obtain this movie subbed, it's fantastic
I'm pleasantly surprised by this. I really like the art style as well.
i like the dub get wrecked
What's with the hate on the dub? It's actually pretty good.
What's with the hate on the dub? It's actually pretty good.
Superiority complex, ignore it and enjoy the dub if that's what your into.
Finished it. Great fucking movie. I just learned that it was in development for 7 years because the entire thing was hand drawn frame for frame. Holy fuck.
Superiority complex, ignore it and enjoy the dub if that's what your into.
or maybe i just dont like the dub?
This movie is always a joy to watch even if the ending is straight up shit
Dub is actually really good for this. Have some nice VAs in there, especially Patrick Seitz doing JP. Pulls off the douchebag pompadour voice really well.
This movie is always a joy to watch even if the ending is straight up shit
Yep. Movie is beautiful.
This video is not available. SHIT
Oh man I was scared this was gonna be that crappy F&F remake but with more expensive cars
This video is not available. SHIT
http://proxmate.dave.cx/ This should help. It's an amazing movie, I have it on BluRay myself. Did you know? Redline was entirely hand drawn and features no computer animation or effects? They spent 7 years making this movie happen.
Animation studio Madhouse spent seven years crafting Redline. The film consists of roughly 100,000 hand-drawn frames. Unlike most contemporary anime, Redline does not contain any 3D CG rendered models. All of the film’s backgrounds, vehicles, and characters were drawn by hand.
http://www.animenation.net/blog/2011/12/07/ask-john-what-makes-redline-good/ http://www.hollywood.com/news/movies/12965728/indie-seen-redline-sets-the-bar-for-imagination-and-action?page=all
Watched it, glorious as fuck
This is probably the most off-the-wall animated film since Heavy Metal. Absolutely love it.
One of the best anime movies I've seen in a while. Fuckin pretty-ass movie as well
[sp]"Violence is the only thing that gets me hot anymore"[/sp] 10/10 line
I'm not really into anime, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't grinning like an idiot throughout most of that movie.
Vid doesn't work for me (seen it before anyway) but I hope you guys are watching atleast 720p, preferably 1080p. Redline should be watched in 1080p.
Superiority complex, ignore it and enjoy the dub if that's what your into.
no, the voice acting in the original is just better
no, the voice acting in the original is just better
I don't think people are watching this kind of movie for the dialogue.
Streaming from Youtube is a silly thing to do too, you should watch a movie like Redline in 1080p on a local player, with good post processing/scaling if you want to experience the full effort put in to it. The BD is only a tenner on amazon, seriously worth it.
The visuals are so ludicrous in it you need to watch it in 1080p.
Superiority complex
Get a hold of yourself. I always prefer the original voiceover.
I was blinded by the epicness... Damn.
Saw this with my bro awhile back. The dub may have not been on par with the original but with no subtitles to read you can concentrate on the amazing visuals.
