A bit heavy handed but there's too many little shits like this thinking they can do what they want.
What exactly happened before filming started?
Supposedly someone got severely beaten up beforehand possibly by these kids.
Avon and Somerset Constabulary We’re aware of a video posted on Facebook which shows officers detaining and arresting a number of people in Taunton. While we welcome and expect public scrutiny when officers are out serving our communities, we also ask people not to jump to conclusions without knowing the full facts. At 5.29pm today we responded to a report a woman was being assaulted in Victoria Park. On arrival a large group of young people refused to co-operate with officers and five people between the ages of 15 and 34 were subsequently detained on suspicion of affray. The 18-year-old assault victim we were originally called to assist is currently in hospital receiving treatment for a number of injuries. An investigation is now underway and we’d ask people not to speculate while it takes place. Body worn video was worn by officers during the incident and will be reviewed as part of the inquiry.

We’d ask people not to speculate while it takes place.
Like that will ever happen.
Do these stupid little cunts think they can get away with trying to twat a rozzer?
"Inaudible British Cursing"
A lot of people seem to be very misinformed about what a police officer is allowed to do in the interests of keeping the peace. Shoving a police officer around saying you didn't do anything is like stuffing your pockets with sweeties and running out the shop door yelling that you've not shoplifted. If an officer is straight-laced, they most likely have a very good reason for asking whatever they're asking and losing your head will only make things worse. If an officer is more of a loose cannon then that's a fight you're not winning, and losing your head will only weaken any charges you wish to press. I'm not saying "there's no winning with the police". Winning for everyone involved is everything going smoothly and calmly. "Winning" for the citizen is not laying the smackdown on the police because that's not going to happen.
Nothing good is going to come out if you start physically assaulting an officer. Pieces of shit deserved it. How hard is it to just cooperate with police, even if you did nothing that's all you gotta do. I've been pulled up at railway stations often when they're responding to reports in the area asking if we or I know anything and I just say nah and hand them ID, then on my way I go. It's not that difficult.
Oh hey, I saw that earlyer today of Facebook. The person who posted that said "And these are the people who are protecting us :middle finder emoji: " Get fucked you little shits
Do these stupid little cunts think they can get away with trying to twat a rozzer?
Is that a real term or are you making that up?
Oh hey, I saw that earlyer today of Facebook. The person who posted that said "And these are the people who are protecting us :middle finder emoji: " Get fucked you little shits
A mate of mine posted this same video with the dumb fucking message that read "Terrorist threat level at severe, but police would rather waste their time chasing cheeky little 12 year olds out of a park" I wanted to post and tell him how fucking stupid he was for saying that and for defending the actions of these kids: policemen are just meant to drop everything else and go prowling for potential terrorists, instead of stopping kids from causing issues at a crime scene? Yeah, no.
The absolute MAD LADS
i like how the girl very obviously kicks an officer in the head but cries she didn't do anything when she's on the ground.
It's weird how easily people seem to forget the fact that in these situations they're dealing with individuals who aren't only allowed and trusted to use this sort of force but are also trained to do so. Like what the fuck were half these twigs hoping to accomplish ?
Reminds me of Sovereign Citizens in how they respond to the police. There are times and places to oppose authority. This is not one of those times.
i can never take videos of "police brutality" that seriously when they're filmed outside of the states. i'm sure it happens but largely the videos i've seen of english officers is them getting harrassed, not the other way around
I love how as soon as shit goes down all the girls start crying and the lads still try and act hard when they've been handed their arses to them
This was so entertaining wow, do they expect they can attack/shove police officers and not get put down and arrested?
This was so entertaining wow, do they expect they can attack/shove police officers and not get put down and arrested?
they expect to get away with it because they're young, entitled, and stupid. I bet half of them didn't think their recording of this 'terrible injustice' would be evidence against them
Most cops are nice dudes, not sure why people always feel the need to pull the victim card when confronted by one and prove that they didn't do anything wrong. I nearly talked my way out of a ticket for doing 61 in a 45 by just talking to the officer like he was an average guy but because of the speed he just gave me a speeding instead of a reckless. Two years prior to that, I only got a reckless driving misdemeanor charge instead of a felony reckless for doing 81 in a 45 just by being calm and treating the officer with respect. Cops are bros.
You gotta love people who blame the police for maintaining authority during an incident. You can clearly see at the start of the video that someone was handcuffed, so of course they were going to use necessary force when these kids ganged up on them and started getting physical. How can someone honestly say the police are wrong on their part?
I really hate how a lot of people just want to find reasons to hate on the police, even when the police are justified in their actions. In my experience, the police officers I have interacted with were very nice and friendly.

Play dumb games, win stupid prizes. What the fuck are these people even thinking? [editline]28th May 2017[/editline] "I'm a girl I can kick police in the head"?
Cops are bros.
Really though, I was going through a rough patch and was pulled over for going 90 in a 55. Cop gave me a fix it ticket for a malfunctioning speedometer just because we ended up talking for like 20 minutes.
Is that a real term or are you making that up?
It is [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/zbROQOT.png[/thumb] [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/ggKTC0f.png[/thumb] I chose my words to sound extra English.
There are some countries where the police are really corrupt and certainly not acting in the citizens' best interests, where it makes more sense for people to develop anti-police sentiments. But such attitudes aren't really applicable everywhere. I just think there's a lot of people who don't like to be told what to do, and become more stubborn as a result.
I just think there's a lot of people who don't like to be told what to do, and become more stubborn as a result.
i think it's a bit more complicated than that - for some people, if you're anti-capitalist or feel that society is inherently bad, the police are basically the people tasked with enforcing the status-quo, ensuring that society stays that way - ispo facto they're the "enemy" in the opinions of people who think that way. the result being that in their opinion more or less anything the police do is bad not that i necessarily agree 100% with that but i can see where they're coming from also
I nearly talked my way out of a ticket for doing 61 in a 45 by just talking to the officer [...] Two years prior to that, I only got a reckless driving misdemeanor charge instead of a felony reckless for doing 81 in a 45 just by being calm and treating the officer with respect.
you're an idiot and i hope the next time you pull that shit you get caught by a cop who doesn't let you talk your way out of it. sort it out
