In the spring of 2017, the newly elected president met with members of the Congressional Black Caucus. During that meeting, one of the members mentioned to Trump that welfare reform would be detrimental to her constituents— adding, “Not all of whom are black,” according to NBC News. The president was incredulous. “Really? Then what are they?” [...] News of Trump’s welfare comment arrived as he’s dealing with the backlash of reportedly calling African countries a “shithole” during a bipartisan meeting on immigration Thursday. Trump has denied using such language.
Could this guy get any more obvuously racist
What a perfect example of just how completely out of touch Trump actually is.
I don't know how he manages to keep surprising me. I should know better.
I can't believe this, a news article legitimately gave me a migraine by reading it. I hate how this idiot is creating a new normal, I hate what is happening to the US.
Oooooooh I so hope this is real.
Where the fuck is Rock Bottom at?
Where the fuck is Rock Bottom at?
I'm from the future, and trust me, you don't wanna know.
Where the fuck is Rock Bottom at?
Doesn't matter to Trump, he has a drill.
His voters probably aren't going to be happy about being called black /s
I have a theory that he's just going to keep doing ridiculous shit like this for so long that we'll become desensitised to the point that he could just tweet something like "Launched the nukes! #MAGA" and nobody will bat an eyelid
I'm gonna reserve judgement until we can get someone in this thread to explain that this isn't really racist and tell us what he actually meant.
I'm gonna reserve judgement until we can get someone in this thread to explain that this isn't really racist and tell us what he actually meant.
"You mean those welfare queens aren't a thing?" "Yes sir." "hey mike, they told me welfare queens aren't real!" "Uh yes we should talk later about that."
I'm gonna reserve judgement until we can get someone in this thread to explain that this isn't really racist and tell us what he actually meant.
You see, it's actually part of the 64D lacrosse game he's been playing since the election!
The president was incredulous. “Really? Then what are they?”
And then there was an uncomfortable silence as everyone in the room started wondering how to get out of here was.

So what are the chances that he was asking the leader of the black caucus 'if her constituents aren't black, as the leader of the black caucus, what are they?'
Jesus fucking christ this guy is retarded and further proof that there's a subculture in the US that feels represented by him that needs to cease to exist Hope Trump's impeachment comes soon
What a perfect example of just how completely out of touch Trump actually is.
we needed an example? lol
So what are the chances that he was asking the leader of the black caucus 'if her constituents aren't black, as the leader of the black caucus, what are they?'
The black caucus is a congressional subcommittee. She is an elected representative of a certain state, of which not the entire population is black. There is little contextual shifting that can be done here.
The black caucus is a congressional subcommittee. She is an elected representative of a certain state, of which not the entire population is black.
Right but Trump is a fucking idiot so it's also very possible that he just assumed the "black caucus" only represents black citizens
Ever consider that he's an idiot and racist?
Ever consider that he's an idiot and racist?
Of course he's an idiot and a racist?
I wonder how many Trump voters would actually vote for him now. Any other person and they'd have constant riots in every major city in America by now.
If Trump's supporters are willing to believe that an international deep state conspiracy theory, involving every major media outlet and government agency in the Western world working in cooperation to besmirch the good name of an honest president, is somehow more reasonable than accepting that Trump might just be a stupid fuckin' racist, then I really don't think we should be holding out for a moment of clarity. They'll never have it.
I wonder how many Trump voters would actually vote for him now. Any other person and they'd have constant riots in every major city in America by now.
I know many people who still support him because they would have said the exact same thing as him.
I know many people who still support him because they would have said the exact same thing as him.
Also true. Trump's camp regarding race relations are split into three primary groups: 1) Those who believe that an international conspiracy is at work to spread FAKE NEWS that Trump is a vile racist. 2) Those who just don't care that Trump is a vile racist. 3) Those who are, themselves, vile racists. All three groups have significant overlaps, in the form of, "Trump's not a racist, but if he is, who cares? The white race is under attack."

And she's on the lower end of the more hateful bigotry I've seen among other Trump supporters.
Could this guy get any more obvuously racist
Yeah, he could be his dad.
