Lmao, so the guy waits for pornstars and he report those tube videos [editline]11th April 2014[/editline] Even funnier when you read the comments
an estimated 40 million men watch online porn... out at least 120 million men in the U.S. with internet access.
Ooh, well see this is very interesting. With the porn stars fighting against piracy and their hard work going out for free and then them having to do work for these big companies which doesn't necessarily mean to but put out of pocket their own actress' How do people feel on this? Because for me I actually always use tube sites and I would probably feel uncomfortable giving out my credit card information/paying to use porn sites. I would probably have to force myself to pay for it, just especially when it's so easy to just go on a free one for a few minutes, do the stuff then carry on with your day. If I had no other choice though and all those free tube websites got shut down I would buy in bulk :v:
I remember Siri did an AMA literally a day after Pornhub (owned by MindGeek) did one and she spoke out against them and piracy in general and some of the comments were really abusive. I wonder if she got blacklisted by Brazzers because of it.
It's an interesting problem. I want adult performers to get paid but at the same time they don't make it easy to purchase porn. I don't think it's massive problem though because there's so many alternative ways for them to make money, live appearances, stripping, escorting, private webcam shows. You can't pirate any of them. Make it easier to purchase porn and I'll gladly do it.
In a free market capitalist society, as a industry declines (here its the porn industry) we should just let it decline. It sucks that 'employees' of the industry will lose their jobs, but that is just the nature of a supply and demand economy.
people pay for porn? wow, news to me how do you even stop porn piracy? that's literally impossible. I'm not even trying to advocate it either, but, seriously.

Especially from massive sites like Tumblr, there's always going to be nsfw blogs that offer such content. The only thing paid porn sites probably have going for them is better quality content.
an estimated 40 million men watch online porn... out at least 120 million men in the U.S. with internet access.
80 million are liars
Good riddance. There's no point in having an industry.
Good riddance. There's no point in having an industry.
May I ask why not?
wow it's like every person that spoke has no idea what they're talking about in that video muhporn muhhardwork thinkofthechildren it'sallthepiratesfault
wow it's like every person that spoke has no idea what they're talking about in that video muhporn muhhardwork thinkofthechildren it'sallthepiratesfault
Its almost as if Piracy has a downside.
uh its fairly easy and common for webcam shows to be recorded then seen by hundreds and thousands
Yes, that's why I said private. The performer still gets paid, it's upto whoever recorded the video if they want to release it or not so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make?
I want adult performers to get paid but at the same time they don't make it easy to purchase porn.
You go to a site and put in your credit card. Seems pretty easy to me. The bigger problem is that nobody wants to sign up and pay. I know I wouldn't.
Think of it this way. You pay to watch a 2 hour movie on your computer, the movie is over and you proceed to upload it to a torrent site or to youtube even. Camwhores generally own all rights to their content, even in private shows. I may be biased here due to having friends in the industry, so I should really not get into an argument over all of this. It's their work and they don't really have any other industry to move onto, while they got into that position through their own actions this shit legitimately hurts them.
I don't know what you're trying to argue, you're preaching to the choir here. Most of my friends are in the industry and I am too, to an extent. I'm not sure why you had to point out that a private show can be uploaded to a torrent site, well yeah obviously, it's still a good way for adult performers to make money if piracy becomes a bigger problem. Most people that buy private shows only want it for themselves anyway.
the way the anchor says "music" at the beginning is hilarious and distracting

I have a disturbing lack of pornstars in my social circle.
May I ask why not?
Commercially made porn is pretty much always awful, or at very least unable to compete with the free stuff. It comes down to opinion however.
Good thing all my porn is 100% free to watch.
Okay, how does someone even get into that predicament? Is it common for a woman to get their knickers caught on their heels?
the only porn i would pay for (and have in the past) is FTV girls, because it's actually good stuff.
I'm actually really surprised at how little they censored on ABC Primetime news. The blur on the scrolling thumbnails was not nearly enough and the women had quite seethrough garments. For those outside the US, that report was porn in itself in comparison to most broadcast US programming.
i like how they didnt mention youjizz because the name is bonkers
To those stating it's too hard to pay for porn, That's not true. What is hard is to stop paying for it once you have paid for it, canceling for most sites is more work than it should be and isn't designed to be easy, and honestly why should it be. on top of that most people don't want a subscription showing up on their credit card even if it is "discreet" and not to mention most of these sites cost around 30-40 dollars a month, why would I pay that for porn? I can get netflix for 9 dollars a month and the productions on there cost more to make I'm guessing. Not to mention the porn industry isn't exactly known for not scamming the fuck out of its customer base or being the most customer friendly industry outside of letting us jerk it to them fucking.
Commercially made porn is pretty much always awful, or at very least unable to compete with the free stuff. It comes down to opinion however.
My experience is that "amateur" must be some fancy French word for "Never heard of a tripod"
edit: People in porn are just normal people, but without the elasticity.
I feel like this is supposed to be a pun but I'm not sure.
What they really need to do an investigation on is if internet porn is killing strip clubs. Why spend gas money, pay cover charges, pay for extremely expensive alcohol and pay to see some tits jiggle in your face without your cock getting so much as a howdy doo, when you can watch the most depraved transvestite donkey midget porn available right on your computer screen, rub one off in a minute or two and then get right back to doing important stuff like shitposting on Facepunch?
Who gives a shit. Pornstars get too much money just for having sex, it's not like they're even actors. They just take dicks and make noises for a living, or give the dick for money, which a lot of guys would do for free lmao. It's absolute bullshit how much some of those girls earn, maybe this might help some of them get a real job.
That is interesting that the top sites are all owned by one company. They did a really good job, some people are even polarized on which site is the best, and then to top it off buying out studios. The company must be raking in the cash now.
