http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-25681806
Over the past year technology companies have tried numerous ways to make smartwatches communicate with our phones. But Canadian start-up Neptune has gone one step further, putting the entire Android mobile operating system on a "watchphone", which can also double up as a helmet camera.
Video in Link
He's dogging on her the entire time. It isn't ideal whatsoever.
Its like a fucking pip-boy.
Its like a fucking pip-boy.
Except it doesn't look as cool [editline]12th January 2014[/editline] Oh god now I want one with such casing
Its like a fucking pip-boy.
I kinda feel like we should be heading towards that in terms of smartphones and portable computers. You'd need a Bluetooth-style earpod for call-making, but when you have a substantial computer on your forearm you've got so much power.
I hope it will also recognize whether our limbs are detached or not
Sadly doesn't show any radiation though.
Anybody have any pictures? Video won't load for me.
At that size I don't think it qualifies as the title of watch anymore.
What happened to their old product?
Anybody have any pictures? Video won't load for me.
Best shot I could get without her finger on the screen or any app getting run.
Imagine how stupid you'd look talking on this thing.

Did anyone find the reporter passive aggressive with his questions
Imagine how stupid you'd look talking on this thing.
The n-gage is going to have a run for its money.
Fuck me, I realized I could buy this but then I remembered I only have $350 Dollars, not sure how many Dollers that is. Can anyone do the conversion?
Did anyone find the reporter passive aggressive with his questions
Yeah To be honest though the stuff he is being passive agressive about are all pretty valid, this is the kind of thing that is probably going to end up DOA especially considering the price. It's just such a goofy thing and the kind of device you know will break or have an assload of issues within a year of ownership. I'd also be pretty surprised if it has any solid carrier support at all too. Not to mention stuff like the navigation app is going to be impossible to use, along with most other android apps with a screen like that.
Fuck me, I realized I could buy this but then I remembered I only have $350 Dollars, not sure how many Dollers that is. Can anyone do the conversion?
You have 354$ dollers
Its like a fucking pip-boy.
Except not bullet proof and doesn't have a geiger counter or flashlight.
pics
It looks like someone glued a belt to those really old car GPS.
So this is literally just a smartphone more or less on a band.
It looks like someone glued a belt to those really old car GPS.
Or just got an HTC Wildfire and one of those exercise arm bands
I'm just relieved it has News and Weather.

And design it so it automatically "picks up" the incoming call when you pull out the earpiece from it. Additionally have the earpiece's battery be charged by the armwrist device.
Except not bullet proof and doesn't have a geiger counter or flashlight.
flashlight is easy to add, and geiger devices can be made fucking tiny nowadays.
Huh; I forgot Leela owned a PiP-Boy.
Why don't I just tape my phone onto my wrists and save $335
