5000 USD is quite a lot for a Printer though, considering it's not very suitable for a big company and I reckon small companies won't spend that much money on such a small printer.
Awesome, but not very practical "financial-wise".

It will probably get cheaper if people use it.
It would probably cost more in labor to rewrite on old documents than to buy more fresh paper and ink/toner, in my opinion. For most firms, at least.
Those crazy Asians, always making awesome shit.
Does anyone else think that the green cover on the top with the word "Prepeat" makes it look kind of like a toy?
3USD for a sheet of paper?
Fuck that.
[QUOTE=binarybitz;20116692]3USD for a sheet of paper?

It can be used over 1000 times, 1000 normal papers are way more expensive than 3USD.
so if you heat the paper up it turns black?
The printer itself costs 3000. No thanks. Clever but not practical.
Ok, fuck this, I want a see-through case.
I know this is possible to do, but I want to see the process with my own eyes.
Nice but the giants of the ink idustry will make sure the masses don't see it.
500.000 Yens? That's like 4000€. I would never pay that much for a printer.
[editline]04:55PM[/editline]
And for a thousand sheets of paper you'll need to pay another 2000€. Ridiculous.

You didn't pay attention, 1000 sheet of paper can be used like 1.000.000 times.
I think you guys are forgetting that these printers are targeted towards companies where the benefits would be much more noticeable than a regular household.

This is a stupid argument, you may need the paper for several years/months, you can't just buy one sheet of paper and say that will solve all your problems, I'm all for this machine but fuck me it's expensive.

It's actually around 3,350 dollars. One USD is like 89 yen.
How is it not suitable for a big company?

Not for a company that has money like that to throw away. 50 bucks will buy them maybe a year's worth of paper. Compare that to regular paper. I don't even know how much that would cost.
pretty damn cool
Wait does this mean on a hot day or freezing night these papers will get erased?

Also, you just put these people out of a job:

Let's see it print in color :colbert:

Those big companies he talks about only do it in black and white, so color is irrelevant at the moment.

Pie-charts will be funky.
"Ugh it's hot out.....FUCK THERE GOES MY ESSAY" (I would imagine it uses much high temp then any day would be)
Any how thats cool...I also imagine most people might look at you funny if you hand them your next report on a sheet of plastic
