A bank robber told a judge he's in prison because he watched the news.
John Stephens pleaded guilty to holding up the Your Community Bank in Floyd County earlier this year, causing a massive manhunt in the county.
Stephens had been out of prison for about two years. He said he was holding down a 9-to-5 job before he saw a serial robber on the news and decided to try it himself.

You can only sprint through certain sections of the walk. He must have noticed that he couldn't sprint at the beginning and then gave up permanently. Then he missed the entire "don't speak russian or we can't blame the americans" thing.
