On a side note, the Nexus 7 is ridiculous value for money.
I'm curious if that was just box design that wasn't thought through, or if it really is theft protection that works WAY too well.

Not always. With them, you get to see what's included other than the manufacturer's word.

I generally agree. I think one of the only good unboxers is Linus from LinusTechTips because he feel genuine and also talks a lot about the product while unboxing it, He also pairs the video with overviews and some performance videos as well.
When I do unboxings it's generally a overview of the product and talking about what it's for, good for, specs, and other issues people might have. And generally I finish up with what I think about it after using it for a couple hours.

After getting my Nexus 7, I can confidently say all those people are fucking retarded. It took me like 5 seconds to get it out of the box and in my hands. And I recorded it to upload to YT to show people they are fucking retarded.
The tablet is awesome though. Never felt anything this smooth or responsive.

this is what they get for making unboxing videos.
Why didn't they just get a screwdriver and use it to pry open the box? All you need to cut those stickers is a thin knife anyway.
