Youtube is like that unfortunately, not many youtubers can do audio properly. although this video was fine

You gotta record all of your lines in the same session otherwise it'll never sound exactly the same. Even then on separate takes your face could be closer/farther to the mic too which could fuck up the sound. I notice it in my videos a lot but it's usually small enough of a change to ignore.

Ross Scott (Freeman's Mind/Ross's Game Dungeon) does a shitload of rerecordings for every video because he wants to make sure his quality is consistent across the board and that everything is just right. There are some creators who are meticulous about their work, and it really shows. I'd have to search around a bit but I've found creators who I didn't like the actual content of their work at all, but I like simply because they are dedicated creators who want to make sure that whatever they do is the best they can make it be.

That shouldn't be a huge deal if you just normalize/compress the audio.
Yea but with Ross I think it's more than just meticulous recording. He has a magical never-changing voice.
