A perfect example of this would be the short-haired piggy who got in my face after the performance. Inside the venue, I was totally polite to her and told her I'd hear her out without making fun of her. Instead of being calm and using a normal voice like I was, she just screamed in my face a bunch of vague nonsense about how I'm a piece of shit for using the word "faggot" to be funny. She didn't even see the full anti-homo set, she can be seen walking out two minutes in, after I used the word "faggot" for the first time.
I told her I understood, was sorry for upsetting her, and disagreed with her. The clip you can see at the tail end of this video is after that, when we were outside and she was talking to her friends about me while I was within earshot.
This sort of red vs. blue, kneejerk us vs. them bullshit is the reason why most of the time We have a circle-jerk team war and not an exchange of ideas. Several people have talked to me about this and we were able to have a nice conversation where I yielded some ground and admitted the content was a little insensitive and indeed lame/not funny. Those were the people who didn't start the conversation off by throwing verbal hand-grenades.

Wrong. It's just Sam and the guys making videos they want to make, nothing else, it's a weird type of self-aware humour that you can't really pinpoint but they're the only guys doing it, so it's great.
Their main content also has some of the finest editing I've ever seen on YouTube.

To people saying it's shock humor - what he says is [I]almost[/I] inconsequential, it's all about the concept and reaction. It's clearly poking fun at both sides of the [irrelevant] debate at once.

Best way I can explain it (my interpretation), is that he calls out the dumb pansy bullshit of today (i.e. being easily offended/offended [I]for[/I] others) by being as overly offensive as possible. I think he's brilliant the way he does it, too.
He's pretty much, in essence, a martyr for offensiveness.
