This is an example of what you can do in OE cake with some imagination, you can trick people into thinking you're actually developing a game.
If anyone knows where the giant green ship in the end comes from then you win my undying love.
I want! Please, I want!
This looks like an excellent timewaster!

Here you go <3
The green ship is from bosconian
Why does that looks better than anything I ever make?
Oh, this game is how I first found Facepunch. :v:
I spent so much time on OE cake at college. But I never made anything as cool as that.
There needs to be a game like the one this is pretending to be. I'd play the shit out of it.
What's he using for projectiles?
That did look like OE Cake when I first saw.
Custom materials and lots and lots of effort and tweaking.
There were ways to make objects that made other objects, so you could theoretically with enough work make a material that made bouncy fire and set it up in such a fashion to fire projectiles.
I havent played OE cake in ages, has it been updated yet?
I never knew about OE until now, is is awesome.

It's actually not at all that complex. The projectiles are regular fire, and the ships are made out of different bits of brittle, rigid, fuel and powder. To make a ship fire a shot I pause the simulation, stick a single (or more depending on the power of the shot) fire particle where the gun is and drag right click over it the direction it should travel. That assigns a velocity to it so when I unpause the fire will fly out as if it were fired.
In editing I cut out the space between pauses, and whalla, a laser gun!
Fire will melt brittle, detonate powder and ignite fuel. So in combination those three elements make for nice exploding spaceships
You should upload your ships as save files
I know it's just OE Cake but someone SHOULD make a game like this...
as soon as a saw that green spaceship, it brought back sooo many memories
What did you use as a fuse

Ok http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15450289/SqueegysAwesomeShipsofGreatness.rar
That's 7 ships between 6 saves.
