I went to an american apparel sale yesterday and this is what happened: for discounts :D -AALNDNFAV (40% OFF some of the most requested rummage sale styles) (link: http://store.americanapparel.co.uk/london-rummage-favorites.html) -LNDNRMG25 (25% OFF he entire webstore) (link: http://store.americanapparel.co.uk) -EVENTPAGE (25% OFF a purchase at our UK retail stores. Just bring the FB event page with you to redeem)
Today's response at our first Rummage Sale in London was overwhelming and humbling. Dangerous behavior in the queue prompted the police to close the event down until they could ensure security for everyone involved. In our many rummage sales, we've never witnessed anything like it and are disappointed and sorry that it happened. Fortunately we were able to work out an urgent arrangement for extra security that will allow us to continue to run the rummage sale as planned this weekend and Monday.
facebook event price list still on tomorrow and monday here: 81 Brick Lane E1 6QN London (Closest tube station: Liverpool Street) (Link to the CORRECT map: http://bit.ly/chwllM) It was a fairly enjoyable experience except for the fact that it was closed, so i went back today and bought loads of stuff

What's so good about their clothes?
Tanks for four pounds?! Time to take over the world.
Words cannot express the pity and depression I felt after watching that video.
What's so good about their clothes?
you get laid
They're actually made in America? Apparently downtown L.A. I usually get clothes made in China.
They're actually made in America? Apparently downtown L.A. I usually get clothes made in China.
because the smell of child labour empowers you
What's the difference between American and British apparel? [editline]04:49PM[/editline] Pics [editline]04:49PM[/editline] I'm a visual learner, most of the time anyway :downs:
american apparel in britain nice.
They're actually made in America? Apparently downtown L.A. There's a good explanation why more expensive brands cost more, better fabric and materials.
English apparel
I don't undersatnd why everyone has to get in that close to watch police holding someone down. Throwing their camera phones into the pile and screaming when someone stands on top of a car.
Wow. I have never seen people act so fucking immature just for clothes. Poor?
Coming from an American; we do not dress like this at all.
I was hoping I would see the Hezz bear on the video. Needless to say I was disappointed. [editline]03:06PM[/editline]
Coming from an American; we do not dress like this at all.
You're right. You probably shop at Walmart and wear stained sweatpants everywhere you go.
Coming from an American; we do not dress like this at all.
Oh alright, because we all dress with trucker shirts with chili stains all over them. [editline]10:39PM[/editline] And if you live in a place like California like I do, almost everyone will wear something good. And I know of loads of people who shop at places like AA and Urban Outfitters.
What's up with the "I'm rebelling i'm awesome and i'll fight back when the police tries to arrest me for being a douchebag" people? And for some clothes?
All of this over some clothes, I'm glad I didn't go now.
Smug Alert!
Well if this is going to cause a shitstorm about cheaper clothes being better than more expensive stuff then I'm not going to be in this argument.
As far as clothes go, I don't think Americans and Brits look that different, but then again I haven't seen many Brits.
As far as clothes go, I don't think Americans and Brits look that different, but then again I haven't seen many Brits.
They don't look that different at all actually, although Brits do dress a bit nicer than some Americans in some places.
They don't look that different at all actually, although Brits do dress a bit nicer than some Americans in some places.
this statement is just fucking weird
But there are a few differences when it comes to the more stylish types of people. If you were to wear a suit jacket here in California it would be seen as taboo unless you were going to some event. But over in a place like the east coast of America it's a bit more of the norm since people dress more conservatively. There's only a slight few differences when it comes to some stuff, but most people dress very much the same. [editline]11:19PM[/editline]
this statement is just fucking weird
It is? I thought you guys dressed nicer. I must be mistaken then.
Of course we dress nicer. I wear my top hat and my monocle with pride.
The police guys need to be respected more, if they were police that is. Here, if you choke a policeman, you get your ass handed to you five times over.
