the guy in viralsearch didn't seem like he wanted to be talking about that technology

it also made me think about how many people there are in the world that are probably brilliant, but they're doing nothing with their brilliance idk, maybe he likes being a part of making this stuff, but doesn't care to talk about it on video
These are the things I cannot wait to get into with higher level EE and CS classes. Data manipulation is pretty fun for everything from weapon damages in games to when I wake up in the morning.

So maybe you're right. I really hope the work put into these programs gets released, I love how microsoft research has given downloads of their work, they have two different operating systems you can download (barrelfish, and singularity), a wide range of tools, and even entertainment stuff like cliplets and songbird. Though I would not pay for songbird I would pay for a program that would combine all the features above. I would when I'm giving a presentation to move away from powerpoint and interact with the audience with feedback of "what if", "can I see this again", or "can you give me more detail on". However, I doubt you'll be able to play with something remotely as close to one of these examples anytime soon from microsoft.
