Metro reported a smaller number of felony arrests, from 62 in 2012 to 53 this year. Metro did not comment on the nature or number of drug-related felony arrests in 2013, saying that a majority of them were narcotics-related. All of the statistics remain lower than the 2010 EDC held in Los Angeles, before the festival moved to Las Vegas. There, LAPD made 118 arrests, mainly drug-related, with only about half of the concertgoers in attendance compared with the Las Vegas event. EDC moved to Las Vegas in 2011.[/quote] Pretty ridiculous how disproportionate the arrests where with the LAPD as opposed to Vegas, especially when the LA venue was much smaller in size capacity. It's a good thing whenever cops aren't entirely up the ass on people who are just safely having fun and keeping to themselves.
