Suggest some natural phenomenons please - General

Hi creative people. Anyone feel like a quick brainstorm? I am currently designing an image and am looking to jextapose some technology with some naturally occurring phenomenons (or is that phenomenae?!) If anyone has anything that springs to mind please list it here. There are no restrictions but preferably tranquil ie not volcanoes or tornadoes. I have a few flowers and rocks in the foreground, and some hills and sky in the background. I'm looking for something in the mid range if possible. It could be an interesting type of tree or your favourite animal. If you have a favourite landscape painting or just a great photo of the outdoors that would suffice also. Just keep it natural. Thanks
