Also Steve Blum went on an anime podcast and told everyone that they can expect "a few Toonami surprises in the future."
Could it really be true?
Do you really still watch Cartoon Network?

For thunder cats, AT, regular show and adult swim.
Hopefully they would find something good to show instead of stuff like Naruto and Ben 10
it's going to be all 4kids or other crap anime / dubs / shows.
I would love it if Toonami returned, not just for me but for the kids who have to grow up with the shit on CN
This is the closest thing we've got to Toonami for the time being http://www.toonamiaftermath.com
Meh. Toonami's good for introducing people to anime but now when I feel like watching I just prefer finding it for myself on the internet rather than having it spoonfed to me.
I can't really imagine watching shows out of order anymore but I'm still interested in this. Used to love Toonami so much. Introduced me to stuff like Yu Yu Hakusho and Outlaw Star when I was younger.

The site I linked to is playing some good stuff. Not sure if the old Toonami/CNX ever played this, but Princess Mononoke's (a Ghibli movie) on right now
If they would bring back Toonami it better be with Moltar

I want to believe.
[sp]But in all seriousness it's probably going to be shitty Japanese cartoons like Naruto, maybe some older stuff, and miscellaneous crap.[/sp]
Better have bo bo bo bobobobo
I never really watched Toonami and I don't give a shit, I could just find those programs on the internet. What's so great about anime, but with adverts every 15 minutes that involve some robot guy making lame jokes?
Some of us grew up on this stuff. Me included.
So please do understand that this is a big deal for us.
If toonami returned, what the fuck would they show on it? Half of cartoonnetwork's current shows are live action.
I've been done with CN for a long time now. You boys can be like, "oh adventure time and regular show." but I've outgrown cartoons.

I actually didn't watch that show (It was at the age that I thought anime was weird) but I can never get that opening out of my head.

I would say whatever current anime is out there with a serious tone, could be shown to kids and isn't moe. I can't think of one right off of the top of my head though.

Blue Exorcist, Tiger and Bunny, Fate series, Guilty Crown to name a few, not to mention there's all sorts of slice of life and comedy that wasn't put on Toonami. Hopefully they'd put better series' on it though.

Implying that watching cartoons makes you immature, or even that all cartoons are for kids. Neither of those things are true.

Well he was saying that for him cartoons aren't just his thing any more. So ummm none of the things he said was "untrue".

Saying you're not into something anymore and that you outgrew something kind of have different implications, though I could be reading too much into his post.
Whether or not that was his intention doesn't change the "untruth" of the implications.

I laughed my ass off at that show so many times.
I think it caused my brain to be slightly endorphin resistant though since I don't laugh that much anymore.
