A lot of us here are autistic to some degree, and we've never really have had a place besides Daily Life to show off our work. This thread is for showing works in progresses, collections, or any scale-model or tabletop wargaming-related whatevers. Legos are okay too, i guess.
Basically, what's allowed:
[B]Scale Models (Planes, Tanks, Gundam, etc.)
R/C Vehicles
Die-Cast Models
Tabletop Wargaming (i.e. Warhammer 40k, Flames of War)
Lego (specifically scale replicas)[/B]

What you people fail to understand is we are practically our own forum but are just connected to Facepunch. Like Hong Kong is to China.
We could try to secede but than Garry would send the Army.

Is it really hard to step into GD and make this? You'd get a bigger thread and it'd actually fit into the forum. This doesn't belong here.

This says we're in the airsoft forum. Not fast threads, like NoPartyHats thinks and not General Discussion. It's fine and dandy that you want to share this stuff with us, but a thread on it isn't necessary, show it off in Daily life (which serves as a catch-all for this kind of stuff)
This thread shouldn't exist here and neither should the relationships thread.

Not what I meant.
I kinda just mean that once you move into the Airsoft subforum you're a citizen for life and you don't leave very often and we actually don't have a ton of association with the outside world. Like I'm pretty sure if someone saw me with a FP patch they'd be all "OH You play Garry's Mod?" but the truth is I barely did in the past and I just come here for Airsoft and a handful of other threads.
If we want to get deep than consider this.
Forum for Garry's Mod is created. Why do we need Airsoft, Car and Drug Subforums? Because enough of our users enjoy those thing and want to share. Why do we have a model thread on an Airsoft forum? Because enough of our users enjoy that stuff and want to share.
The response you get here, compared to GD is pretty different. We're like a disfunctional proxy internet family where as GD are a bunch of strangers who aren't motivated very much to be friendly or support one another very often.

Hmm, i have a Airfix dambusters set in my bedroom thats just lying around to be made, as well as a spitfire some where, think i might just make them and take pictures of the (horrible) results (i cant paint >_>, or build well)

That's a Dornier AlphaJet. I had an interesting episode with mine; halfway through the construction, I lost the nose cone. So I took an external drop tank from my 1/48 Mirage 2000 and cut off the front, and filed it to shape. Looks flawless.
The GD subforum died a long time ago. And a lot of us don't really poke around or post anywhere out of IFAP.
