A man has been jailed for watching cartoon videos of elves, pixies and other fantasy creatures having sex. Ronald Clark downloaded the Japanese anime cartoons three years ago, setting in train events that would see him in court in Auckland and jailed for three months for possessing objectionable material, and sparking debate as to what harm is caused by digitally created pornography.... Bell said it had to be conceded that no child was harmed in the images' production but "it's all part of that spectrum". Cartoon images of child abuse were a "huge" problem in Japan and the practice had started finding its way into computer games, he said... bullshit sentence
How embarrassing.
What the hell?
And once again I point at denmark, where stuff like this is fully legal and that there's no proof of it actually promoting child abuse, if anything, there's proof that it halts it due to giving it another outlet that doesn't hurt anyone. Why don't they just start jailing people who shoot guns at a gun range as murderers while they're at it.
Cartoon images of child abuse were a "huge" problem in Japan
How are cartoon images a problem?
How are cartoon images a problem?
They have genitals in them and they're gross.
Bell said it had to be conceded that no child was harmed in the images' production but "it's all part of that spectrum".
What does this even mean?
They have genitals in them and they're gross.
Those are censored in japan :v:
Anti-child pornography group ECPAT Child Alert director Alan Bell said the images were illegal because they encouraged people "to migrate from there to the real thing".
They are seriously going to flip shit when they find furry porn.
Those are censored in japan :v:
Hardly. Not that I would know.
They are seriously going to flip shit when they find furry porn.
I'd actually like to see the reaction, just for the spectacle of it.
Anti-child pornography group ECPAT Child Alert director Alan Bell said the images were illegal because they encouraged people "to migrate from there to the real thing".
And as soon as we find a real pixie/elf, you'll have a point. Seriously though, I get what he's trying to say, but he's being an idiot.
"anime cartoons" Don't they both mean the same damn thing in Japan? The word is only used to distinguish between Japanese animation and western animation, right?
How are cartoon images a problem?

What does this even mean?
Idiots claim it leads to child abuse without any evidence, their argument is essentially "The absence of evidence, is not the evidence of absence." As an example it would be similar to, "This is an image of drawn child abuse, even though it isn't real, we have to consider it legitimate child abuse."
I'd actually like to see the reaction, just for the spectacle of it.
"It's promotes people to "move to the real thing"" Cuz you know, anthropomorphic animals, pixies, and trolls are real. [SUP][SUP]If only...[/SUP][/SUP]
I think the original title is better:
Man sent to jail for watching 'pixie sex'
I have one Tag to respond to this thread with through. "Fairy onaho"
The poor man probably won't ever be able to find a job again after this. It seems like the repercussions of the sentence rather than the sentence itself will do the most harm.
Bell said it had to be conceded that no child was harmed in the images' production
Then why the hell did you jail him if you clearly acknowledge this?
Then why the hell did you jail him if you clearly acknowledge this?
Because old white people who have no idea what they're doing. Besides, he deserves it! Naked people are gross and icky and unnatural. Also drawings are exactly the same as reality. For instance, when I'm playing one of my murder-simulators, I'm really just practicing for next week when I'm going to go kill a bunch of people.
I would have to see myself to see how 'young' these 'pixies' apparently were, but going by the text, they just assumed that watching young elves and trolls going at it immediately means possible links to child abuse? Way to take things out of proportion, guys.
Pretty sure they're just looking for more ways to get rid of pedophiles.
They are seriously going to flip shit when they find furry porn.
That's legal in Denmark. Not talking about the porn.
Weird as fuck but you absolutely shouldn't be thrown in jail for that.
Thread music?: [sp]GEDDIT!? CP!? Shut up, it was funnier in my head.[/sp]
Why was he jailed for watching porn of fictional creatures? They're not real so no one was harmed in the making of the images and such. And as other people said, they always use the argument of "this will lead to real child abuse!" like watching cartoon porn is a "gateway" to harming real children. Unless there's evidence of this leading to real child abuse then they have no case.
Whoever allowed the idea of being arrested for looking at a drawing to be possible should be removed from any kind of power.
I don't care what fucked up shit people fap to, you can't arrest them on the assumption that they'll become criminals. Either prove that he would certainly become a criminal or fuck off.
the guy was on probation for having raped a kid.
