I also don't heartily agree with it, but I think A Day in the Life was placed fairly.

yeah, it's not my favorite, and I think it's fairly overrated.
Number one and two were very close for me, seeing as though number 2 was the first one I ever heard.

If you don't like the Beatles, that's okay and all. But you still have to recognize that they did an important part in inspiring new generations of music, and eventually into the stuff we have today.
I love the Beatles.
I can't see why people say they don't like them. Unless they're like those kids who say X band is band when they haven't even listened to them.
