I was hoping to see an octopus spinning through the air at high speeds, damn it.
Those things can actually fall from fairly high and end up "ok".
There's a video somewhere on youtube of one falling from about 3-4~ stories (with a camera) and it all ending up fine.
Atleast its not like one of those 60 dollar RC helicopters that break when you sneeze on it.

depends, I've flipped over a quad copter by calibrating it wrongly and it almost destroyed it, luckly only the propellers snapped and flew all over the place.
They're designed to take a fall.
The rotors and beams holding the motors will be damaged and bent, but the camera, battery, electronics and motors will most likely be fine.
Yeah looks like the worst that will have to be replaced are the blades and the beams.
