Meeting the expectations of others can be a frustrating task. Often someone will give you a complicated task and only give you vague instructions on how to do it. The saying “If you want something done right you have to do it yourself.” comes from this.
Schoolwork frustrates me when I am asked to write about myself because there isn't much I have to say. I often put aside homework knowing that it will be frustrating for me to do, though I know it's more sensible to just get it done.
Frustration is not logical. When you get frustrated remember to calm down and work things out. Rushing leads to frustration, which in turn leads to procrastination.
Seems really choppy to me, I want tips on how to improve it.

The History of Graffiti
The first graffiti was created 32,000 years ago. Ever since the first cave men started drawing in caves, graffiti has existed as a means to record your beliefs or thoughts so others may see them. This is a natural human tendency. However, what is known as graffiti today is much different than it's ancestry. Graffiti became what it is today beginning in the 70's when people started to write names or symbols with the intention of being known and having their message live on beyond themselves.
Graffiti writing, as we know it, truly started with Taki 183, a messenger in New York City. His name originated from his nickname, “Taki”, and the street he lived on, “183rd”. He traveled throughout all of NYC and he tagged every part. Every station he went to, every train he rode and every building he delivered to was marked by the words “Taki 183”. His secret pseudonym was soon known throughout the whole city. When The New York Times ran an article on him, his fame increased exponentially. Many kids realized that they could achieve fame if they did the same and soon NYC saw an explosion of graffiti on the subways and throughout the city.
Graffiti is not just a means to fame though. It started with poor black and hispanic teenagers living in the ghetto, where you either sold drugs, or wrote graffiti. Another major reason graffiti took hold is because it was an outlet, a way to deal with all the things that they were exposed to living in the ghetto. How are these young kids supposed to stay sane when they are taught it's wrong to show their feelings? When their best friends are murdered, or their mother overdoses, how are they to cope with that? Many people choose drugs or alcohol as their outlet, while writers choose art. They took all of the pent up emotion and threw it onto a wall, where many people would later see their pictures and words and the story they told.
The main form of expression was on the subways, where writers would battle it out for the title of “King”. The insides of trains were covered with tags (short handwritten names) from 100's of writers, repeated many times, to bring greater recognition. On the outsides, trains were usually covered with pieces, short for masterpieces, that were much bigger and more sophisticated than tags. Around this time, throw-ups were created. More complex than a tag, but not as intricate as a piece. This new style was very fast to do and could be seen very far away. This style soon dominated and marked the beginning of bombing wars. When all the room on a train was used up, the only place to write on was over other writers. This was seen as a great disrespect to the victim and they would soon go back and write over the second writer. This would continue, until the writers created a truce for the sake of art.
The late 70's were the last of true bombing, before the Metro Transit Authority priortized graffiti removal. Access to layups, the places where the MTA stored the trains, that many writers frequented every night, started becoming more and more difficult. Broken or cut fences were repaired, graffiti was removed consistently and security was added to help battle the large surge of new writers. This marked the beginning of the deterioration of the graffiti culture in New York City and spread of graffiti around the world.
Graffiti wasn't just an individual's sport, everyone learned from one another. Taking someones style, called biting, was used by toys, new writers, to learn and evolve their own style. Since it isn't practical to practice everything on walls, writers had sketchbooks called “blackbooks”. Blackbooks were a writer's most prized possession for they contained every past and future piece of art they would create. These were passed from writer to writer at Writer's Corners. These were places where many writers could socialize, trade info, and watch trains. They were key in the development of graffiti culture. Through these corners, writers met and got to know each other and planned dates to write together which helped the creation of crews.
To writers in the 80's, all these new inconveniences brought on by the MTA were seen only as challenges, instead of reasons to quit. Much of the art was soon moved to the street instead of the trains, and normal pedestrians were faced with defacement. Writers also became more possessive of their territory and it became much more dangerous to write graffiti than ever before. This caused the forming of crews. A crew is a group of writers who work together and watch out for each other. One of the most famous crews is the FAB 5, a group of 5 masterful graffiti artists who created many “whole trains”(Every single train car is painted in congruence to each other). Some of the whole trains were continuous pictures painted along the train, while others displayed each car painted by a different writer in the group.
In the 90's, the Clean Train Movement, which took all train cars with graffiti on them out of the public eye, essentially halted the bombing of subway cars. Prior to this most streets in America were untouched by graffiti, and when the CTM came into effect, the streets of every major city were bombarded by graffiti and were received by a very unappreciative public. This was a radically different medium than trains and it allowed many pieces to remain untouched for many years.
Graffiti is now much more accepted as a valid art form due to gallery openings of famous writers in the 70's. Many writers have now become professional artists and are paid to do what they love. Because graffiti has seeped into the mainstream, it is not uncommon to see people wearing clothes with graffiti tags on them. Games were created with the premise of youths fighting a totalitarian government through the means of street art. Books full of pieces and tags were released in major bookstores across the U.S. Movies about graffiti writers and their lives were filmed. Many of the original writers criticized this new use of graffiti art because it bastardized the entire basis of graffiti: to challenge the status quo.
Today, graffiti is still the language of the invisible. Due to the illegal nature of their expression, graffiti writers must stay anonymous or face jail time. Some say that graffiti should be legalized but like before, many writers disagree because the illegality of graffiti is the most desired aspect. It is no longer harnessed by race or color and is used by rich and poor alike as a way to express themselves. Companies see it as a nuisance, while others see it as a revolutionary art. Police and governments spend billions of dollars every year fighting something that can't be killed because graffiti is built into the human soul. We desire others to know our name and what we stand for, we naturally want to compete for dominance, and we yearn for the tingle of mischief, of breaking the rules. As long as there is free will there will be graffiti.

I think something along the lines of this works out better. Don't use nouns or verbs that are the same/similar to each other too often.
