OVERVIEW
After a young, middle class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban “starter” tract house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night.
Especially when they sleep. Or try to.

The Trailer

Interesting plot....
Shallow plot, you're not in for the story though.
Most "scary" movies don't scare me. But I'll check it out.
Sounds like Poltergeist.
I'm interested.
Added the trailer. Ignore the faggy reactions.
I saw this movie at a Pre Screening at paramount studios. I can tell you right now that this is the second movie that consider actually fucking scary. Gay, I wasn't shown.
It saying that it's the scariest movie ever loses points.
Steven Spielberg had taken a Paranormal Activity DVD screener to his Pacific Palisades estate, and not long after he watched it, “the door to his empty bedroom inexplicably locked from the inside.” The famous director was forced to call a locksmith, and returned the screener back to Dreamworks in a garbage bag, certain that his copy of the movie was haunted.
Okay, now I'm scared. :ohdear:
What if it is?

Wait. What?
Yeah that took me a while to deciphr. Replace story with scary. And he last part refers to the trailer.
I get scared easily, I would heart-attack if I watched this.
Wait. What?
Yep, I get tickets to pre screenings. Anyone can get one. They are usually passed around at colleges and high schools. Heres what I saw this winter before actual release.
Paranormal Activity - Being the first pre screening I saw. - I was in the audience in that trailer, but none of my friends or I was shown.
Second movie I saw for free is a movie called "City Island" it's a drama comedy.

And I recently saw the George A Remero Remake of The Crazies. - I got a free ticket to any AMC theater in appreciation for attending a pre screening.

All you have to do after the movie is fill out a questionnaire about what you liked and didn't like about the movie. And like if "this" movie is good for a wide release. Shit like that.
Give us a spoiler free review.

He means that the movie was actually scary and he's annoyed that his reaction wasn't shown in the trailer.
If you live in San Francisco, Demand It! I want to see it!

I can either spoil the film for you or tell you what kind of scenes there are in terms of scary.
Ill try to keep this as spoiler free as I can I guess.
Paranormal Activity was scary in terms of scenery and obviously situations. You get the quiet setting for the film and BAM something fucked up and unexpected starts happening. Noises you don't feel comfortable hearing comes (Which is unexpected). The camera lurking into dark areas when both main characters know that theres something bad in the area lurking about makes you feel intense and keeps you at the edge of your seat.
Hell one guy in th audience flipped his hands in the air and stands up going "WOOOAH WOAH HOO HOO WOOOOAH" It can be that fucking insane.
Believe me, the movie looks cheaply done, which it actually is because there was absolutely no budget for this film. It's just 2 people and 2 supporting actors that appear in this film, no camera crew, no special effects, and that my sir is what made it feel so real.
Neither. Just, was it as good as it has been said?
Updated. And it was rumored that this movie was going to be remade, which I disagree with because this version is fucking fantastic. And trust me, I think this is a great horror movie, I've never been scared like that. I'm not a fucking kid, I'm 19.
I heard that before Paramount decided to release it. I do not believe they will now.

Well I'm a bit confused on that, I read online that the movie was being distributed through Dreamworks, but then I figured how can that be since I went to Paramount Studios to see the movie. Plus this was like a month ago that I saw the movie I think. So trust me the movie is being released.
Wow, they got great ratings from renowned newspapers like "dread central", "bloody-disgusting", and "film threat". Must be fantastic.
Those are actually very credible sources in film. New York Times and Entertainment Weekly are not the only reputable sources.
Believe it, its scary.

I meant remake. I know they're releasing it.
I wish they would play it close by me in Arizona.
Independent looking horror movie and it actually sounds really good. :O

Demand it! It's playing in Pheonix.
Offtopic: I miss Arizona :( I just moved.
It's not news: independant movies are often better as they don't need to appeal to the masses. I'm going to watch this someday.
Wow you came off as a dick.
