Another man, in his 30s, was shot in the side and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in “stable” condition, police said. Another man was killed Saturday night in the West Side Austin neighborhood, when five people were shot in two incidents that are thought to be connected, police said. A cab driver was picking up two passengers in the 900 block of North Mayfield Avenue about 6 p.m. when shots rang out, police said. I always find it odd that there are so many more wounded by gunshots than actually killed by them. Either people are tough, modern medicine is incredible, or murderers don't really make sure their victim is dead. Or all of the above.

Contrary to what movies and video games portray, getting shot for not equate instant death.

Most of the time it's very possible to survive multiple gunshot wounds if you get medical attention fast. This chance is of course reduced dramatically with the use of anti-personell ammo (hollow point).

The Question is why was she having a sleepover? kinda dumb but whatever. Also why would you have a sleep over in an area where there are bogans living that shoot people all the time, like here parents must be kind of dumb, but you know normal parents don't even realize that if you send your child to a bogan area, you will get something bogan happening to them, its like all those raping, letting there kids hang around the streets are midnight, they blame the raper, it is not the raper fault. ^-^

Chicago seems to have a very serious gang problem. There are as many murders there annually as there are in all of Canada. The city needs to step up and do something about the gangs.
