If only they were more available
Poor broadband :(
I'm still amazed by the fact that they're offering free internet with a one-time construction fee. My hometown would be fucking revolutionized by that...all they have now is shitty expensive DSL with ridiculous data caps.
this needs to be available everywhere

Kansas only? Damn. :( The free package is 5MBS. Can't believe we pay £30 for that same speed here! :v:
this needs to be available everywhere
It does, but you'd be surprised by the amount of people who just don't care, there's Gbit fiber in a few cities near me, and it's certainly reasonably priced, but it has an abysmally low subscriber rate. Don't you hate it when you are downloading something only to have your HDD burst and release data all over the floor?
Nothing ever comes to Southern Illinois. Nobody even knows we exist.
I have a 10 GB monthly internet usage cap get in line.
Stop teasing me. It's still not in my apartment till next month.
At least you're getting it.
At least you're getting it.
Sadly it will be shortlived, I'm probably moving out of Provo around March. That's why I was hoping we'd have it before Jan. [editline]10th December 2013[/editline] AKA I wasn't trying to sound ungrateful or cocky with that first post, but it kinda came off that way.
NBN if Tony doesn't take it behind the shack with a shotgun.
You don't watch the news do you?
You don't watch the news do you?
Yeah well I don't, what's new?
We're getting a watered down NBN that basically consists of Fiber along the streets but still uses the copper lines that run to your home, so basically creating a bottleneck as it enters your home, meaning the speeds won't be all that improved particularly if the copper leading to your house isn't in good condition.
