Bullshit a place like that would have enough funding for such a TV
I was expecting something like this:

But it's true he was almost a god figure to some of the NK citizens so it's not surprising they are so sad.
are they faking?

Faking at gunpoint!
North Korea is saddest Korea.
They probably have a shit load of guns pointed at them if they celebrated.
They should have rubbed onions in their eyes before filming. It'd be OK because it's North-Korea best Korea
They did the same thing with the previous dictator died.
I know its called no comment TV, but I would have appreciated translation. Not that I couldn't guess what they were saying at the end, but still.
I was going to say "their eyes look no different" but wrote this instead to simmer down the harshness
Who would've thought that North Korea has the next generation of hollywood superstars among them. They are really good actors.
Here, more, from their OFFICIAL YOUTUBE PAGE!

This is depressing, it's either fake cry or get sent to a work camp.
I can't wait to see the funeral, there's going to be one fuckin' epic display there.
this very arousing
I would say that most of them aren't even faking it
If the "glorious leader" who protected me from the "evils of the outside world" died, I would be pretty upset too
They've been told that since birth, so I wouldn't expect many to question it
the first bit of the video it looks like they're laughing, then you see that one woman pretty much crying an orgasm.
Well, actually, this is probably sincere. They know no better than what is in their country. And in their country, they are told that the world has slid into darkness and desperation, that South Korea is under military rule by the US, and that poverty is so rampant that many do not get healthcare, housing nor education.
On the other hand, North Koreans live in a society where everyone is equal. They are poor, but everyone else is poor. The elite in Pyongyang and the military with which they surround themselves are poor. They are in this together. They've been working against hunger and oppression to build the society they think exists nowhere else.
There was a village, in fact, where they had two thousand people place pipes underground by digging with their hands, and two weeks after they finished, they were finally rewarded for their toil. They had water. They could drink from it freely. The government had directed them towards this higher standard of living, and through their perseverance they had managed to do so themselves.
They think this is the best the world has to offer.
It's not fake, but it's depressing anyway.
Makes you feel lucky that you were born in a westernized civilization where you can express how much you hate your government.

America's government is in the shitter right now but I'm very fortunate to be raised here. As much as the youth love to complain about trifle things about the country we have it so much better than most other places in the world.
I heard Kim Jong-healthy is taking the reins now
Starcraft 2 battle.net will be down for maintenance for the day.

Too lighten things up in the country this should be there new national anthem
It is really, really sad. Not Kim's death but that the people are being forced to do this. I'm sure the starving farmers in the countryside are really torn up over his death.
