Starting up my Digital painting live streams again. - General

For the older members here, yall may remember my random live streams in which I would paint and would demonstrate solutions and techniques to whatever people requested. I have decided that I will attempt to do this again, as it seems more and more people are getting interested in digital art. Hopefully this will be received as well as it was last time, if not I will simply discontinue them. Anyways I am on a temporary computer, so I do not know how the desktop streamer will act so the image will probably be very low resolution, but I will attempt to help and be as clear as possible. When entering the site, please go to the chat room as I will be explaining and talking in there. The broadcast will start at 8:30 pm, central time. That broadcast was supposed to air yesterday guys. No one showed any interest, hence the most likely outcome of me not bringing this back. edit- If this does go through I would also have to find another desktop streaming site as you have to create an account to chat and I think that is too inconvenient for viewers.

maybe you should just record paintings, then speed them up and upload to youtube? I love watching people doing paintings, but live streams can be inconvenient.

A speed paint merely shows me painting, I want them to know the thoughts and techniques that a painting time laspe cannot show.

you could always make a commentary, explaining the things that might not be obvious

I hate the argument of "get one!" Though I suppose I will try to save up and buy one. Hell, I need an actual webcam, so I could just get one of those with a mic built in. Though I am on a low budget.

I live in Norway and I just happened to stay awake the whole night when you made this thread but still only noticed it 1 1/2 hours after the webcast had started. So it was obviously empty when I checked it out. You lose out pretty much all of Europe with the time you did it on, so it obviously removes a lot of potential viewers. But that's how timezones works.

Youre right, time zones were an issue last time too, I will have to see what timezone the majority interested in this will be in.

Before the next one is done, I am going to find the best time for everyone and give a 24 hour heads up. That being said, I will need people who are interested to post the timezone they are in.
