There we go :v:
Sorry if the FPS is bad.
alright tis fixed
Strange
Looks over-contrasted, has poor framerate, driving around a black-and-red speedboat doesn't really match the music (which was cool on the other hand, will be looking into the morrowind stuff). Some of the scenes were actually pretty gorgeous but on average not, and of course the character is hideous for this type of movie but I suppose there's not much that can be done.
I wouldn't put this on a resume but it's good practice for more ambitious work for sure. If we had numeric ratings you'd get a 6 or a 7.

I just wanted to make a video about how gorgeous modded Just Cause 2 is. And just so you know, Just Cause 2 isn't a 3D modelling software or anything, it's a real game. I just installed a couple mods and removed the HUD and crosshair to make it look prettier than it already was. If you couldn't see that, it means I won. Hooray!
And I really am sorry about the FPS. Fraps chops it down immensely.
Don't worry, I'm well aware of what JC2 is, not to mention if it was somehow a 3D program it wouldn't have a crap framerate, it would just have taken you a week to render. You'd be best to assume anyone viewing your videos on FacePunch has a rudimentary knowledge of a very popular game, not to mention modding and making terrible videos based on said videogames.
I'll rephrase. You're better than another awful Minecraft lets-play but this really isn't that great. While some of the mods look good, your footage does not.
Lastly, it's not a competition, you shouldn't be trying to "win" anything posting here because it certainly won't get you far.

Good, good. I was just worried that you didn't know what Just Cause 2 was. And no, I don't want to win anything. I don't need to win anything. And I certainly can't win anything with something so cheap. I haven't made any cinematic video-game scenery videos in the past, and if I wanted to seriously make one, I would buy a better computer and not have a pop-out livestream and Sony Vegas running in the background. The general idea was to cinematically showcase Just Cause 2, which is a game that looks nice.
And Just Cause 2 looking nice is something that nobody can contest, no matter what framerate is in question. Don't you agree?
What the fuck have you got Rico wearing
Oh god ricos shirt.
Also a JC2 video without busses driving off cliffs or crazy explosions. Kinda defeats the purpose :v:

I made a lovely timelapse test.
The framerate and odd coloring ruined it for me. Sorry but it could've been better and honestly the game's beauty shouldn't need to be altered with other mods as the video loses it's point then.
Explosions are beautiful too eh :v:

By adding MLP stuff in when you know full well no one is going to find positive things to say once they realize you put that in.

I hope this thread isn't derailed into another huge horse argument by such volatile statements.
