Crazy stuff. Most of it we made. Bigger, but different version. Sorry about the annoying kids in the background. This was my dad's costume. Video skips because my dad roughly edited out voices. Wow that looks sweet. There was a house in my city that had a guy with a chainsaw chasing children that went up to it.
i hate norway. no damn decoration .
Wow that looks sweet.
Thanks, I appreciate it. We put fourth our best. Wish I coulda' put my costume on there.
I love how the storm sound effects synchronized with flashing lights to give the appearance of lightning. Those are some good creepy props you have there. Also, Freddy plays with dolls.
Amercians always over-do it
Holy God damn :psyboom: 10/10 house.
Amercians always over-do it
Jealous? :smug:
Cool. How did you do the lighting and sound effects?
Jealous? :smug:
I know i am england is so fucking boring over halloween ..some shitty haunted houses in town and some fake cobwebs in peoples living room and thats all we get
Amercians always over-do it
"Those who come from American tend to put more effort in the doing of things" is how i would've said it
Those kind of houses are always fun to trick-or-treat at :buddy:
Cool. How did you do the lighting and sound effects?
We used something called a lightning controller, you plug the Audio IN into the computer, and select what track to play and the sounds go to the lightning controller rather than the speakers. Then what it does, it takes and "reads" the sound so when it gets louder, more power is emitted to the lights, & power to speakers stays the same. Crating the lightning effect.
Nice. I used to put a lot of afford in to Halloween. But now I've stopped, no one trick or treats where I live. :(
i hate norway. no damn decoration .
In england it's the same but I'm happy about it. We carve pumpkins maybe a bit but trick or treating is rare which IMO is good. I don't like the concept of someone holding you or your property to vandalism ransom unless you give them sweets no matter how innocent it may be. It feels wrong to submit to their threat and give them sweets even if they mean nothing by it and maybe wouldn't trick anyway... On the topic of OP though, that's some seriously impressive decoration...

But now I've stopped, no one trick or treats where I live. :(
Whats really cool about this year is we live in a very small neighborhood, only like 14 houses. and no sidewalks to our neighborhood. The cool thing about this year was that we got a truckload of people. One lady named Joyce told some people to come, those people came, and more people came to see what all the commotion was about. In all, the whole street to our neighborhood was filled with cars, and plenty of people to view what we had done.
I live in England, people put no effort into it and kids just beg you for Candy, and when you scare the kids, the parents threaten to call the police.

America is loosing its dedication to Halloween aswell, but the way you put it, you make it sound like there was no dedication to Halloween in England, which I am assuming is the case.
That looked way better than any house in my neighborhood.
Amercians always over-do it
Which isn't a bad thing.
I love Halloween, I pitch in with my whole family. We don't have fancy lights and what not, but we try. We'd have someone at the side of our house with a de-railed chainsaw, and run out at the kids. IT'S OUR CANDY!
I wanted to go to florida for the Halloween Horror Night, I love America when it comes to halloween.
