First time Urbexing with my friend Calvin, (check his photostream here) he's currently getting into photography with a trusty Samsung point and shoot! We started going out shooting at night and thought of places we could explore, and this was one of them we wanted to check out. Shut down for over ten years and yet squatters and drunks seem to use it. We found everything from old written calculations done for work in the factory to clothes, alcohol bottles to a recently used Colage toothpaste tube! My favourites Great experience and going back tomorrow to shoot and explore the rest. Tried to do some video but it came out very shaky so I'll try and re-do that. Shot with Nikon D7000 + Tamron 17-50 2.8 First extended use of the lens and it performed VERY well, absolute bargiain at £256 new. Mostly shot at f 5-5.6

I love the tones in all of them, especially the ones dai quoted.
Thanks for the comments! I think the chemical spraying should be thanked for making the area the way it is now, as it certainly did stand out compared to most areas we saw. I spent most days since Monday when I shot them trying to find what suited best in Lightroom, good to know I did some right at least! Have some more of that you two.
fucking hell man Im spheechless

Well done man! (look in my thread history for all my urbex threads)
these are really great.

Been talking to someone who does Urbex around London and they said I should do video alongside them doing photography. I'd like to do both, but its rather clunky to get a good result out of both. I think I'd prefer photography to be honest, ergonomics aren't with an DSLR for video. Thanks again guys, added two images in the OP to favourites that I had left out.
Very nice lighting on all of them, great job!
Alrighty, Picasa updated with Monday's set, 53 to 139 all new while my favourites have been updated in the OP. Thanks for the comments!
Hey I saw you favorited one of my urbex photos on flickr, so you are from facepunch. Great shots dude. I love them.
Just been surfing and found these - excellent pics. You local to Omagh? I am looking out for someone to take on a small project in a few months and I love your eye and the colours in these - would you be interested?
