• Toy F-16 sold on Amazon plays Islamic prayer instead of jet noises
An unexpected noise came out of a child’s present this Christmas: an Islamic prayer. Instead of whooshing and roaring expected out of a toy F-16 fighter jet bought on Amazon, the toy plays a prayer in Arabic, KING-TV reported. The toy’s manufacturer, WolVol, blamed its factory for the mistake, according to the report. “It sounds like an Arabic chanting, which is pretty unusual,” Bjorn Thorpe, the boy’s uncle, told KING-TV. “I think we’re kind of confused on how this would happen.” Nadeem Israr, president of the Islamic Society of Whatcom County, told King 5 the sound is a Muslim prayer spoken during pilgrimages to Mecca. “It’s very wrong. It’s very, very wrong,” he told KING-TV when asked about the toy.
Source + video
Soon we'll get a toy tank that goes "Praise Jesus" instead of a sound of the cannon firing.
How the fuck can you let these kind of things happen. Pff. I'm guessing someone at the manufacturer was playing a cruel prank or something.
if only it said ALLAHU ACKBAR
Atleast it's realistic sounding and accurate. If you were a member of Daesch and a F-16 was dropping bombs on your head you'd be fucking praying too. "Daddy, what's that sound my jet is making?" "Thats the sound terrorists make when they see an F-16 coming in, son"

Some time ago there was the "Evil Stick" toy that looked like a fairy wand, but cackled and showed a weird picture of a demonic girl slashing herself when you pressed the button.

I remember that :v: I do wonder how somebody checks these and goes "Yeah, that's right."
The best part is how there's a little Mecca toy out there making jet noises [editline]29th December 2015[/editline]
You'd be surprised at the stuff that sneaks out of Chinese sweatshops.
http://www.snopes.com/photos/odd/evilstick.asp Is that Cardcaptor Sakura on the fucking package?
Yeah, the guy in the video mentions it. I really have no idea what the toy is about. Maybe the factory had a bunch of random spare parts and packages to get rid of?
According to someone on reddit, these chanting toys are common in the middle east.
Oh lord. I can shed some light on this. In Saudi Arabia (and I'm guessing several other middle eastern countries), you can get practically ANY toy with its sound recording replaced by prayer verses. I'm talking toy planes to toy yoyos to toy handheld Tetris games. My guess is that they're all mass produced at some factory in China/Taiwan and at some point in the production process, they are specialized for certain locales based on who ordered them and how they were customized.
Make one that has this playing out of it and I'll buy it.
Did they buy right from the manufacturer, or did they buy from a 3rd-party that listed on Amazon? If so I'd be looking to that 3rd party for the blame, especially if the contents were out of place.
Wow, just wow.
I'm more concerned about "toy handheld Tetris games" and can't help but picture one of those 9999-in-1 Brick Games, except it's constantly chanting a call to prayer while it's on.

Hell, even other countries order these. I remember seeing a box that would spout awful quality vedic chants as a selling point.
I wonder who the girl in the wand is and how do you fuck up so hard.
This kind of shit fascinates me. Any other similar stories to this?
This kind of shit fascinates me. Any other similar stories to this?
It fascinates me too, and I don't mean to spoil the sense of mystery but I really think it came down to some guy in China searching on Google images for "spoogy gril"
-snip-
“It’s very wrong. It’s very, very wrong,” he told KING-TV while he declared a Jihad on the company stating "all must die for this desecration of Islam"
Im kind of sad they didnt show the plane driving into a jenga set
Scary Middle Eastern Chanting! Don't Purchase! Very loud Middle Eastern Chanting and Music! It's weird and scary! This is a very un-American product!
God bless us.
According to someone on reddit, these chanting toys are common in the middle east.
I want a soldier action figure that plays Arabic chants.
Little did we know that the children in the Caliphate were crying this christmas about the planes and their shitty authentic sound.
God bless us.
It is really creepy though, you buy a toy and expect it to make toy sounds, instead you get unintelligible chanting. That's fucking creepy, that sounds like the intro to a creepy-pasta.
I wonder who the girl in the wand is and how do you fuck up so hard.
It's from Butcher Ludwig, a horror artist NSFW
It's from Butcher Ludwig, a horror artist NSFW
Somehow it's remarkably less horrifying to see the full size version. [editline]30th December 2015[/editline] Nevermind the "Evil Stick" version has larger and badly edited eyes. The poor quality of it overall makes it creepier.
How the fuck can you let these kind of things happen. Pff. I'm guessing someone at the manufacturer was playing a cruel prank or something.
IIRC there was a similar instance in the 90's when a company that produced talking dolls of Freddy Krueger and PeeWee Herman got the voice boxes for the dolls mixed up.
the video in the link is pure gold fucking lol
