My wisdom teeth are coming out and I want to know what meds I might be prescribed and how I can get the best of them without requiring a second appointment with the doctor.
Thanks in advance.
Have you ever been in that kind of situation? I bet that you have.
Be happy, your pain is about to payoff in good old prescription drugs.
This guide is more for people who have no/limited access to drugs or/and want to only use legal drugs.
For Pain
You can get some nice medicines due to chronic or post-surgical pain, It could have been wisdom teeth removal, Myofascial pain syndrome or fibromyalgia.
The most important thing is you might get prescribed these:
Opiods
Stupid NSAIDs
Or some other alternatives like Orphenadrine or Cyclobenzaprine.
To get the things you want The most important thing is to keep up a charade of exaggerated pain until you get what you want. Tell your doctor (more like whine) that your medication does not work and be sure to do this at a private doctor. They are more inclined to prescribe more potent drugs.
I need more help. If people have experience doing this I would be grateful for your help.
Mine are coming in but they don't seem to be disrupting anything so I can't cash in on shit. On the plus side I won't have to get them removed.
My girlfriend and I both got hydrocodone for our wisdom teeth. I now have some Tylenol with codeine in it for pain in 1 of my teeth.

Was that for a removal or when they started to sprout?
I got vicodin prescribed for my wisdom teeth removal. That's one week I still can't remember. :smug:
Try to make more meaningful titles man... I know this is DD, but you can do better than that.
And I usually hear of vicodin being given.

Bad title-itis. I suffer from it. Too bad I can't get a prescription for it.
But is that for a removal or just chronic teeth sprouting pain?
And cool. I get to act like house and no one will give a rat's ass since I'm on vicodin.
I have to get mine taken out, and im planning on getting vicodin. I dont really like to take prescription meds because my mom got her life fucked from pills. So, I don't know if I'm gonna take them, but hopefully the pain will be bearable. i'll probably just smoke some weed.
You're title sounds like the headline of an article/guide or something. I expected something different. I was disappointed.

I know. It's sadly something I do regularly :smith:
Oxycodone!

Both for removal.
I traded my pain medicine for a shit ton of weed after my wisdom teeth were pulled. The weed helped with the pain just as good (if not better) than whatever pain killers i got. So it was a win for my dealer and a double win for me.

Come to think of it, i only ever got 2 wisdom teeth removed, so maybe the pain would've been worse if i had all 4 removed.
I got oxycodone when I had my four wisdom teeth removed. Tell them you're nervous about the procedure ahead of time and they might prescribe valium.
Well I don't know shit about that, but you guys can help.

They just drug you up with a fuck ton of Ibuprofen, put you to sleep, stitch you up, then when you wake up they give you gause pads to roll up and put into your mouth to stop the bleeding. On the first day don't use straws because it will fuck up the blood clot that covers the holes to stop the bleeding. I stopped bleeding after day 1
Is hydro anything similar to oxy in terms of effects/dosage?
Bad title-itis. I suffer from it. Too bad I can't get a prescription for it.
there actually is a cure, it's called dexedrine
Whelp, bad news.
My wisdom teeth aren't impacting my other teeth, The dentist sees no need for removal, bastard told me to just wait it out.
They still hurt like fuck though, and theres still a massive wad of gum tissue over one of them and IT IS FUCKING PAINFUL to touch.
Now that that is done, Someone help me chalk up a nice OP about getting your doctor to supply you.
I got 10 mg oxycodone tablets because I whined nonstop about how whatever meds the doc gave me weren't working.
It was awesome, but the addiction was not worth it. Luckily when I ran out I had 30 5 mg oxys, 28 norcos, and 60 5 mg vicodin tablets because he kept upgrading me.
Op you should add more information about different prescription meds like Benzodiazepines, Adderall, SSRI's etc. When I saw this thread I was expecting an in-depth guide on how you should act/describe your symptoms to get the meds you want when you go to the doctor. If somebody has a lot of experience with this (somebody like Charlie Bartlett, if you've seen that movie) and wants to make an in-depth guide on how to get different meds that would be great.
