It's been a great few days for memes beloved by horny teenage boys. After UPS unveiled on Facebook a special mosaic version of its shield logo made from fan-submitted photos, a few Internet sleuths noticed a very small "dick butt" meme hiding amongst the tiles. UPS created the logo to place on a Ferrari SF 15-T that will race in this weekend's Chinese Grand Prix. I highly doubt they removed the logo from the car and reapplied it, I bet they just said they did to cover their goof. Nobody would notice, you probably can't even see it in person it's too small. There wouldn't be a point.
Ugh, again somebody who doesn't understand the point of these mosaics. You are meant to use an algorithm to pick and choose the right photo for the right spot so the colours match, not place the photos entirely randomly and then smack a mostly opaque logo over it.
This is me assuming UPS did that on purpose, rather than out of a misunderstanding of decent graphic design, but I wonder if it's a case of wanting equal representation from each photo, since an algorithm will cull out the pictures of colors that don't fit the image, and use a lot of the same images that fit within the color scheme. People who sent images that didn't fit either the brown or gold of the UPS logo close enough would not have their picture there, and people who did send pictures which were close enough to the average of those two colors would be over-represented. You'd need a lot of people sending in a lot more random images than they probably received to get a decent representation. They could've requested that people try and only send in brown and gold images, but that wouldn't really solve the problem because much less people would submit a random image of themselves or something they like if it has a (to them, seemingly arbitrary) color requirement. but yeah I agree it's a dumb and lazy shortcut to graphic design and I hate seeing it too
Well I understand that, but then just don't use the technique if it's simply unfitting for the need (which it admittedly is) and do something else.

Holy shit that's seriously what they did. wow
I bet their reaction was "ups" :v
It's been a great few days for memes beloved by horny teenage boys.
I don't think "horny" is the best word to use there, unless you want to imply teenagers get their rocks off to dank memes
I don't think "horny" is the best word to use there, unless you want to imply teenagers get their rocks off to dank memes
What, you don't? Weirdo.
I don't think "horny" is the best word to use there, unless you want to imply teenagers get their rocks off to dank memes
I sure do.
I don't think "horny" is the best word to use there, unless you want to imply teenagers get their rocks off to dank memes
memes are the only thing I feel after the accident
There's anime not too far from Dickbutt himself UPS please remove this
I don't think "horny" is the best word to use there, unless you want to imply teenagers get their rocks off to dank memes
besides saying horny teenage boys is kind of redundant anyway
