So, whos hitting V or Reading in weeks to come? And who are you looking to see? Weathers been pretty shite recently, lets hope the rain dissapears in time for both weekends.
I know loads of people going. I'm jealous :frown:
Going to Reading, feel like I'm the only person excited for Arcade Fire. Phoenix will be amazing too, they're pretty much perfect live. But everyone knows the best bit is just hanging around with your mates afterwards
Ill be hitting both V lineup is a lot stronger this year, and the Reading line up is decent, but it isnt no where near as good as last year in my opinion. At V im looking forward to seeing: Kasabian, Faithless, Courteeners, Prodigy, David Guetta, Doves, Editors, Calvin Harris, Chase and Status, Groove Armada, White Lies. Not really too bothered about Kings of Leon, heard enough of them and they've died down on me. As for Reading: Guns n Roses (although no Slash!),Libertines, Lost Prophets, Phoenix, A day to remember, Dizee, Maccabees, Futureheads, Cypress Hill, Limp, Pendulum (cant get enough or these guys), Shikari (or these), Crystal Castles and well more, but im not gonna list so many. There my main im looking forward too.
err, V?
English festivals mate. V festival is a mainstream festival run by Virgin Media. Its next weekend on the 21-22nd. Reading is another big festival but strays towards a more indie/rock genre of music, hosted in erm...Reading. Its the week after next on the 27-29th.
Fuck that shit sonisphere is where its at.
Did Download, had to sell my Sonisphere ticket to pay for the debt I was left in after Download. It took me too long to get the money together to go to Reading, I know a guy who could get me weekend tickets for £90 each but he sold out :saddowns:
Got early bird tickets to Leeds :smug:
I would be going to Reading if I lived in England. I went to Download instead . I'll be seeing Guns N' Roses in Dublin anyway so I'm not too sad.
Shikari
Sure you don't mean Enter Shikari? Or is it actually Shikari?
My sisters going V, I dont really enjoy festivals exept the random boob ecounters.
Fuck that shit sonisphere is where its at.
Meh, Didn't go this years... Went in 2009 though, was pretty good.. Download line up was way better than Sonisphere's this year.
Sure you don't mean Enter Shikari? Or is it actually Shikari?
I mean enter shikari, I just generalise/shorten it to shikari. As in ' Did you go to the shikari gig last night?'. Seen em about 3 times live now, dont normally dissapoint.
I'm going to Reading, mainly for The Libertines. There are a handful of bands that I will see, not worth the £190 I paid for the ticket but the camping banter will make up for the rest.
Fuck that shit sonisphere is where its at.
Fuck that shit Bloodstock is where its at. Best goddamn music festival ever. Today is it's last day, I didn't go :saddowns: And next year won't be near as good because almost all my favourite bands went to this years. Like literally. http://www.bloodstock.uk.com/
I'm going to Reading. I don't particularly like many of the bands, except Enter Shikari. But I know like at least 30 people going, so I thought I may as well join the crowd.
