Well here it is. With snow pummeling all areas of the country I thought we could use a snow day thread.
Ironically, I am making this thread from my school. Which failed to realize that digging your car out of a snow bank is not fun.
Post things to do, what you are gonna do on this snow day, and rage if your school failed to cancel.

Snow is stupid.
I would love to go sledding, but I am at school. Live in Chicago btw. All the schools around us got a late start, and many are closed as well. Life is simply unfair.
Ughhghughgugh I pulled an all nighter by accident. Fuck. I'm probably gonna sleep through my snowday now.

Guessing by his name, he lives around the same parts of the globe I do. Sadly this means around 200 snow days every year.

Hint: The snow has to be precisely timed to snow heavily all night and at least through 3AM for it to be a snow day because before that the workers just push aside the snow on the roads
Oh is that how that works.
Snow day for me today. I'm in the northwestern suburbs of Philadelphia and we are supposed to get 2 feet on top of the 18 inches or so that fell last Friday.
And the snow isn't stopping until midnight meaning probably no school tomorrow.
And Friday we have a scheduled day off and same with Monday so 6 day break from school.

Most of Chicago is snowed out.
It's a fucking blizzard out there. We're expected 10 to 20 inches with drifts from 2 to 4 feet.
I'm in MD, We've had off since Monday. Maybe I'll snag a few pictures in a bit.
Also We got 24 inches on saturday, and right now we're expected to get about 10-20 more inches.

Middlesex(lol) county, NJ here. Gotta around 5-6 inches so far and it stopped snowing but I imagine that it will start again soon.
Got a snow day today. Funny enough the roads are absolutely fine.... just like last time they gave us a snow day in January. :v:
