Holy shit, it looks beautiful, silly soldiers fighting lightsabers with knives.
I can't wait for this Kotor was great, Galaxies was fun for a while, and these two mixed together should be awesome.

I saw this when they showed it on E3. Twas' epic. Except the woman who came up to explain the game before the trailer was boring and robotic as hell.

But they never look like this. I mean The Old Republic is going to be boss but I would really like to see a movie made by Bioware set in the Old Republic story arch.
I was unsure about this game but this convinced me to buy into the hype.

Yeah it was good but I was still like "we'll see" at that point.
I dislike how everything looks cartoony. They should have stuck with the KOTOR art style IMO.
I think something like this would be amazing in a new star wars movie. That's really the only place that the series could go without being total suck.
While this cinematic was uber awesome, I can't help but feel angry because the gameplay won't be anywhere near as awesome as this. That's why MMO cinematics annoy me.
Star Wars is for kids, there will not be any Old Republic movie, it won't sell well because kids won't go see it unless it has all the well known heroes. Star Wars is a dead horse being beaten on by a children's cartoon and shinny effects in video games.

That's because Republic armor doesn't really change all that much through the years. Republic Armor is also based heavily off Mandilorian Armor, so there is little need for change over a large period of time anyway.
Star Wars technological evolution is weird. It takes a long LONG time for technology to evolve in the Star Wars universe. That's why those droideka prototypes are there. They were the predecessors to the Destroyer droids seen in the movies.
It takes like 3000 years for technology to really evolve in the Star Wars universe.
This is probably due to the fact that the galaxy is so massive and that it's really hard for ideas and resources to be spread around.

The Graphics ingame look very nice.
Sure, they are cartoonish, but so is WoW, and I really don't hear anyone bitching about that. It's even less cartoony than WoW. It just has it's own art style that fits it.

Think about those were a Special Forces they probably killed some Dark Jedi in their life and Mostly Due the HUGE use of Dark Jedi in the Jedi Civil War MANY MANY Republic Troops were taught hand to hand and how to fend of Jedi with Vibro-blades and Swords
