And then the pitbull gets euthanised for being "too dangerous"
And then the pitbull gets euthanised for being "too dangerous"
Most dogs would be playful if someone did this to them. If the pitbull delivered a serious bite, too dangerous would be a fitting description.
Most dogs would be playful if someone did this to them. They approached the dog trying to agitate it, and when they saw that it wasn't willing to put up with their shit they continued. Most animals would react the same way: defensively. Hell, if you ran up to somebody on the street and started to run around them shaking your hands and laughing while they voiced their displeasure over your actions, they'd probably end up giving you a shove or two. All that having been said, yeah, if it bit somebody it'd be considered dangerous, but that goes for all animals, even under circumstances such as these. Even if you make the dog attack you with ill or malevolent behavior, if it tries to attack you it's unforgivable. Having worked with animals in the past, it's heartbreaking when you hear things like "my dog bit one of a group of teens that there throwing stones at my window and wrecking my garden" as the reason why a dog is being euthanized against the owners will.
And then the pitbull gets euthanised for being "too dangerous"
Pitbulls in general are too dangerous
Pitbulls in general are too dangerous
no, its depends on how they are raised completely. any dog can be dangerous if they're raised to be one.
no, its depends on how they are raised completely. any dog can be dangerous if they're raised to be one.
I'd doubt a chiuaua would be dangerous
I'd doubt a chiuaua would be dangerous
Stranger things have happened.
I'd doubt a chiuaua would be dangerous
Pissing off any good isnt good tho.
no, its depends on how they are raised completely. any dog can be dangerous if they're raised to be one.
both genetics and environment have influence on their temperament and regardless of their temperament, when they are provoked an angry pitbull will do more damage than an angry chihuahua
both genetics and environment have influence on their temperament and regardless of their temperament, when they are provoked an angry pitbull will do more damage than an angry chihuahua
Pitbulls weren't bred to be aggressive towards humans though. They were bred to be submissive to humans so they could be easily trained. If you see a pitbull aggressive towards humans, that has nothing to do with its genetics.
I'd doubt a chiuaua would be dangerous
great strawman there.
Pitbulls in general are too dangerous
I work at petsmart, Yesterday a couple brought in an Un-neutered male Pit Bull, at first i was a little scared, but once i started cutting it's nails it was probably the most cooperative, nicest dog i've worked with.
Pitbulls in general are too dangerous
pitbulls in general are too dangerous because they are in general raised by dickhead chavs who think they look like tough fighting dogs so they get them to boost their rep and make them look hard. genetically they are no more or less dangerous than any other dog in terms of aggression
Pitbulls in general are too dangerous
It all depends on how it gets raised. My friend has a Pitbull and it is the most friendly animal you will meet.
I'd doubt a chiuaua would be dangerous
My understanding is that pit-bulls are naturally one of the least aggressive dog breeds, and ironically chihuahuas are among the most aggressive; it's just that in the rare occasion that a pit-bull does attack it's gonna do a lot more damage than the daily chihuahuas attacks. So, is it a Napoleon complex? Something else? A researcher who worked on the study, Dr. James Serpell, says that smaller breeds may have a genetic predisposition towards aggressive behavior than larger dogs. "Reported levels of aggression in some cases are concerning, with rates of bites or bite attempts rising as high as 20 per cent toward strangers and 30 per cent toward unfamiliar dogs," he noted. The study included questioning 6,000 dog owners. Breeds that scored lowest for aggression included Bassett hounds, golden retrievers, Labradors, Siberian huskies. It's interesting to note that the Rottweiler, pit bull and Rhodesian ridgeback scored average — even below average for hostility towards strangers.
The reason tiny dogs tend to be so dominant and aggressive is because their owners don't punish them when they're bad, because they're so tiny and cute and the owner is afraid to hurt it. The tiny dog basically grows up thinking it's a god and no one dares to fuck with it.
if I had to choose between a chiuaua trying to tear my leg off or a pitbull i'd go with the chiuaua
Yeah, because they're really small and meek. Thats why you don't hear about chihuahuas hurting people, because they can't even when they want to. I once had some weird kind of stray chihuahua-mix sneak through my gate and start humping my female pitbull's leg and it bit at my toe when I pushed him off with my foot, he couldn't even break the skin. But if he was another pitbull I would be minus a big toe right now.
