• Calisthenic workout question

I went from doing traditional crunches as in more then a hundred to doing 10-15 along with planks, oblique V-ups, back extensions and bent leg knee raises. Why do I now feel more from doing less of one thing or multiple things? I get that there's a variety and all why does the grouping of the sets make it harder or seem harder?
when you were doing a hundred crunches you were training for endurance and not for strength. your body got used to doing tons of crunches. now when you threw in the new exercises, your body wasn't used to them because you haven't been training dozens of reps per day. because you were training not for strength the new exercises will be harder for you because your body isn't as adjusted for planks or v ups or whatever as it is for crunches.
