I recorded this the other day. Pretend you care and make me feel special. I've not seen a Youtube video with these models in action as of yet.
Kthxbai.
I have never seen or heard about these in my entire life.
Funny. The Elite has some animations from the half-life grunts.
I wish they would include that assasin thing... it's creepy as shit same for the old zombie models and all those little things they didnt include.
nee noo nee nee nooo
just realised this was the backing song not the character's sound :v:
I love the assassin model
You can tell just by looking at it that the assasin model was later recycled into the vortigaunt.
How did you get these?

Vortigaunts have been around since the original Half-Life.
The Elite has that odd texture because it's supposed to have invisible/reflective camo, and it has nothing to reflect.
That Elite soldier looks badass, I never knew they made a model of it.
I wouldn't exactly call them rare. But still, they are awesome.
Make the assassin an NPC in garrysmod
Upload them!
Got anymore of them, like Cremator or the Grunt that had a handheld strider cannon?
that scanner

Actually, no, it isn't part of the background song. The neener neener sound was a place holder for the taunting sound the assassin would have

Also, the protozoa from HL-1 has the same difficulty when viewing it's model because it is transparent.
I guess they were originally going to have a scanner npc that looked like it flew in groups of three. They probably realized they could just put down three scanners.
Dat ass

assin
I love the old, bulkier combine. The weird colours on the combine elite were suppose to be camouflage or some cloak or something if I remember right.
Reminds me of Half Life Model Viewer, exporting and importing skins

It was some sort of invisible cloak, which I believe, was reused to be used by the Spy in TF2 iirc

That would be pointless. The leak's models have a different version number.

They are v35 models, and need to be updated to v37, I think. I may be wrong
I've seen the assassin somewhere before but after that, those are all new to me.
Didn't Gabe say they were going to go for a more creepy ambient setting for EP3?
We might see the assassin yet..

Honestly I think the cremators are more creepy

For some reason I find the beta of HL2 to be so mysterious. As in the story and such.
My cat didn't like the assassin. She walked up and attacked my monitor during one of the walking animations.
All the HL2 beta stuff is extremely badass - I would have loved to have seen the Air Exchange make it into the final game.
Could you please explain how you came to obtain this?
