I make music while stoned - General

Sometimes I make music while stoned and depressed, even, because it gives me something to do, and gets my mind off of things. I did most of my GCSE music piece whilst high, I'll see if I can find it I remember making it pretty chilled and then suddenly, BAM electric mandolin solo from the aeolian scale. Shit was awesome. I'm loving what you made though. I was never very good at composing percussion, I never knew what to do with it so it always ended up being a boring generic beat.

I record all my drum parts acoustically, so I don't really have much experience making beats on a computer (I'm guessing this is what you're talking about), but I could relate anyways. And I didn't know they were the same thing! I've only ever been taught names like Aeolian, Lydian, Phygrian, etc. and I've never really experimented with scales I don't know.

Ionian=Regular modern major scale. We learn about this stuff at the music school I go to. Pretty useful.

Yeah, it's rare to find a BC rich that doesn't try to stab you in the balls when you sit down to play it, I pretty much have to always stand up/lean on something when I play my draco. But damn, that's an awesome guitar.

I've had my warlock for years now, I never used it when I played gigs with my band because they're like, the most common metal guitar out there. And cool. I've never really been interested in ESPs... I don't particularly like EMG pickups, which they seem to put on just about every guitar they can. I have the money for it, but I don't know if I actually play enough guitar anymore for me to warrant getting a new axe... Plus I'll be moving out to uni in a few months and I can't exactly take all 4 guitars with me.

I like ibanez guitars although Dirtbox's BC Looks like the shit. I play drums when I feel like it. I still suck though and have to resort to lyrics if its for a project. swear to god blink-182 I will kick the shit out of first date when I have to sing it tommorow.
