I formatted my hard disk yesterday and forgot to back to a very crucial folder with crucial files for our operation. How do I recover these files?
you cant
i bet you cant even get 10% of the data back, but try tuneup?
There is a program called Recuva. It might be able to recover the files.
Although there is a chance that the file is overwritten, which I believe will make it impossible to recover. But you can always try.

I don't think you can.

If you just did a reformat, and didn't go ahead and overwrite on it.. you may be able to use an Active@ application to recover the data. (Yes, you can, shutup)

the "enemy" was "responsible".
I suggest extra "reconnaissance".
It really depends because they say that you need to overwrite a file 7 times before it is gone forever but most recovery places say it is gone if you do it once.
