0:00 rip headphone users.
That sound at 3:45
Oh boy, I love that thing at the end. Such technology could even allow you to work from home! But you have kids and other distractions there, so don't.
That wasn't horribly inaccurate really. The implementation is different and some of them came a decade or so later but we do have all of the stuff they said

Albeit they didn't know how to approach the user interface aspect of it since it was limited to what they had at the time.
We can do most if not all of these things right now with a computer. They might have been 10 years too early with that foresight.

My problem with it is, why is it do damn cheesy and awkward? I can practically see the spaghetti oozing out of everybody's pockets.

It is difficult to envision how future technology will be like.
No, I mean it looks like they took random people off the street and forced them to act at gunpoint. I mean, even the way the old guy presses the damn buttons is so weird. Like he's worried it'll explode if he presses the wrong one. And the main presenter looks like the serial killer who kidnapped them all. Look at his soulless eyes.

Its pretty cool how we have all this plus more, they were not off but much.
Amazingly by the 90's we DID have videophones. AT&T had something that was a conventional phone, PLUS it had the videophone bits built into the same enclosure. It also ran off your regular phone line and didn't need any special services. The exchange saw it as a regular phone call. ...and we fucked the idea over by setting the MSRP to $700 per unit.
that printing of the screen thing was a pretty cool idea I kind of want it, even though its worse than normal printers :v:
I don't foresee too much more dramatic computer technology change in our life times. I think we've finally gotten close to reaching the peak of how much computers can offer us. Maybe expansion of holograms and VR, but that's about it.
You say something like that when we're on the brink of discovering how to make working quantum computers? Oh dear.
Best acting 2012
This is so goddamn British
Those miniatures are badass.
In the 60's, everything had a wood finish
yes marvelous
British dystopia ficiton wasn't much off the future actually.

You think people who bought their brand new 5" black and white televisions ever thought we would have the things we do now? Hell, the idea of cell phone that could do more than make calls was an amazing thought when I was in middle school. Now we have smart phones. What about VHS to DVD? We didn't think it could be more advanced and ~futuristic~ than that until Blu-ray. Never underestimate innovation.
Oh no it'll be 20 years until you can afford to be married.
They talk so funny. British women are ugly.

"Suppose she makes an error; she can clear and start again" What year was the backspace key invented?
Damn. Now that couple will never get married!
